Trix seems to be feeling pretty good, although I admittedly am very nervous and jittery about saying that (anti-jinx) since just minutes after I posted the same thing on Thursday, she barfed (huge anti-jinx). And, to add to my jitters, it was Easter weekend last year that trouble started for both Trix and my Dad...I am sure that is contributing to my current state of anxiety.
Anyway, we've had good BGs (she hasn't need a follow-up pokey in a few days!) and her appy is pretty happy - even though I hold my breath every time I feed and pill her

....I've gotten good snuggles, and she was roasting her belly by the heating vent this morning. All pretty normal. Anti-jinx.
My Dad's chest x-ray "looks good", but I honestly don't know exactly what that means - I guess it looks better than it looked 2 weeks ago???? But since he's still feeling so crappy, the doc ordered another CT scan ASAP, and we're still waiting for BW results - I guess they are running extra tests that take a little while to come back. So we're still stuck in the torturous land of limbo. He really doesn't have any "lung symptoms"...no coughing or congestion. He's just totally wiped out with that low-grade fever - not really any better, but also no worse. I haven't gotten any updates yet today, but I assume things are still the same. Tonight is the last AB...we'll see in a few days if that is the cause. Or maybe he picked up some other nasty infection while he was in the hospital. The "not knowing" is brutal
...
But, my Mom is still planning on having everyone over for Easter dinner....so I have to get into the kitchen and start cooking. Have a great day and Happy Easter,L&LL!
