Yesterday was busy. My sister and I drove about 90 minutes south to Rochester, MN in order to spend a whooping 10 minutes (if that) at the Dunkin Donuts there to get my DBIL kcups from there as part of the "welcome to parenthood" gift we are making him and my DS for when they drive down when they get the news that the birth mother has gone into labor.

Then it was off to my personal training, where I did my favorite, interval (actually IS my favorite) training. Then home for a quick nap and then to my DS's house to color Easter eggs and didn't get home until pretty late.

Today we are having brunch in the afternoon, so a little BTB for me and then hopefully I am going to get some stuff down around my house until then.

Skooter did amazing yesterday, though I wasn't able to get more tests in.
 
What a wonderful Sister/SIL you are!! I'm sure the soon to be new parents will love their "welcome to parenthood" gift!

Skooter's cycle is going very well. I am hoping he slows his roll and doesn't go much higher than he is right now.

Tomorrow morning is the last day of his pain meds, so we shall see if he still doing as well as he has been with tomorrow night's cycle.....
 
I'll bet he doesn't need those pain meds any more. Harvey never needed them for more than a day or two. It's amazing how quickly they recover.

They really do bounce back amazingly well - not sooky like us Hoomins! I'm sure Skooter will be fine without the Meds :)
 
His PMPS was a bit higher than I would have liked and I would have preferred for his +2 to be a bit lower, but oh well.....about to do his +3, so we shall see where he is at....so I just re-did a budget, trying to get some stuff paid off and want to make sure I can do what I need to.....so I figured out Skooter per month, including setting aside money to replenish insulin needs, food, medications etc is about $275/month.....figuring this out was a necessary evil, but DAMN! I guess fun will be put on hold for 3 years lololol


@Linda and Scooter & Jack YES they do! It is fairly small, but it is there....it is a little hard to see - the awning and such, unless you are looking for it. It is SUPER tiny, but they have a decent selection of donuts and a few varieties of kcups to be purchased, even hot cocoa! I am looking forward to trying that at work tomorrow.... The address is 15 1st Ave SW in Rochester......

I used to live in Rochester and I know exactly where it is. I will pop by next time I am at Mayo.
 
Yay we hit green! I think this is a sign it is ok to go to bed. He is slowing his roll and he does normally have an early nadir....though I am noticing it is a little later since his dental, not sure if that is a result or coincidence.....but I am utterly and completely exhausted, so I think I will head to bed....I have a feeling I will get up at some point in the night, so I can always test him there, but I am feeling pretty comfy with where he is....

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend....Skooter has decided to snuggle with me, so :)
