Thank you Wendy and Happy Easter to you and your human and kitty family too! Rosa's looking great today isn't she? Well, last night as well - she's had a really good weekend. And yes, we've had some lovely sunshine today - it's quite warm too and nice enough to spend some time outside.

I had to read back and catch up with Rosa's news. So your other kitties also got sick and you decided it was a bad can of food? I've been surprised at hearing others report that occasionally. Yay that you didn't have to get her tested for p-titis.

It's the only thing I can think of, though all the cans were in one of those 32-can variety packs so they should all have been fine. If it had just been Rosa who got sick, I'd have thought it was her, but for at least 3 of them to have symptoms when we hadn't changed anything we're doing it has to have been the food. I guess these things happen occasionally, but happily she's recovered and has had a really good couple of days - both her numbers and her general behavior have been great! The others all seem fine now too though of course an off day is less worrying when there's no insulin involved in the equation. I did let them all have a little of the baby food as I felt sorry for them all when I realized it wasn't just Rosa who was sick. I'm glad I didn't have to take her to the vet - one weekend of vet-affected numbers last week was enough for a while I think!
I'm still expecting her to go for her last reduction fairly soon. Her numbers seem to be generally trending slightly downwards (with a few wobbles, but she is a cat
) so I'm hoping that's a good sign for her long-term.

I did thank you - it's been relaxed...exactly what I needed. I hope you've had a good day too. Rosa has been a little star this weekend - high enough for me to head out for a bit when I wanted to and a great surf the rest of the time! It's not like her to be quite so obliging - maybe she thought I needed a weekend off from having to worry too much.
