Morning ~O) all is well with Maggie this morning. She is almost like a kitten and her pre-diabetes self, playing with her mouse pole toy and very vocal. I was playing with her and tossing the mouse part to her, and she almost did a littl flip! Sleeping all day yesterday must have really energized her. She woke me up an hour early, so I'm ready for lunch now or a second breffifs and some good coffee from Mannie, too.

Yesterday's condo - Detective Poo here, ever hopeful. Go ahead and shock your bean, Mags.

Detective Poo, surprise she did indeed, as Mags had prezzies late yesterday afternoon. :shock: You must have esp! I didn't find them until I noticed there was a little lump in the LB. This was three days in a row prezzies, and she's never done that since the diagnosis of Megacolon last summer! I think we've found the magic dose with 1/4 Miralax four times a day. This was instructions from another Vet in the Clinic who did her last enema. I mix the Miralax with some squash bf, as it dissolves better in this bf consistency than the Gerber or Beechnut. No more Lactulose is needed, just the twice daily doses of Cisapride.

Have a nice day. I think it's slightly raining. Healing vines to all kitties needing them.

Thanks for the visits I missed last evening. I just conked out after returning home yesterday. I did all the Maggie stuff and then couldn't stay awake. Thanks Kat, Barb & Checkers, Rhiannon, Ella, Carla and Serryn & Vyktor.
No wonder Mags slept all day yesterday! She was getting ready for her big night with Vyktor. :-D

Mags may make a trip to the Green Lagoon today. She made it last night but for how long I'm not sure.

Thanks Devon for your visit the the good wishes on her prezzies and play time. I love when she's playful.

I agree! What a nice WCR today. Maggie obviously feels great, and is letting her bean know that is the case. it is always so great to see them play like that. Well done!! Hooray for prezzies too! it does indeed sound like you have found the right dosing on the miralax.

I think I should have let her sleep. I was thinking she might show a green, but I like this low blue, too.

Hi Mary & Ollie, I hope so, too, on the prezzies being a regular thing. Right now it's nap time for Mags which is always a good time for me to get away if I can get myself ready and awake! I'm drinking MochaMannie kitteh Barista coffee. ~O)

Oh thanks so much Melissa for the "Best WCR of the day"! :-D And for your good words on the Bean. She's such a good kitty. I think Mags was almost doing that happy dance with the mouse pole toy that was similar to when she would do a mad dash run after having a poo early diabetes days.

The same as her AMPS! She did have some food while I was at the store, but still blue. Thanks on all the Maggie visits.

Hi Detective Poo, I do think the 1/4 tsp Miralax four times a day seems to be the right dose. Mags also seems to enjoy having her spine and sides massaged gently.

Thanks Ann & Tess, she did have a pretty good day. Lots of beauty sleep, too, getting ready for her big night with Vyktor. :lol:

Hi Rhiannon and Shadow, yes, Mags does feel a whole lot better. I can tell she feels good when she's playful.

Yay! This made me smile to read and just imagine Miss Mags doing her gymnastics!!! And a nice pretty blue dress! Thanks for the nice smile. :-D

Low blues are just as good as greens, especially when Maggie is feeling and acting so well. What a nice day for her (and you!). Have a lovely evening, Ann.

Hi Lisa, Mags used to be quite the runner in her younger days, especially after a good poo! :-D It was good to see her so playful.

Hi Ella, yes and so agree on the low blues. Mags feels best in these numbers and as long as she's eating and feeling good is what's important.

Thanks John, we're pleased with the prezzie fairy showing up three days in a row. I've been tryng some new food on her, so her numbers are up a little here and there.
