Another nice AMPS. Cobb is looking and feeling good these days. He was a bit hungry last night but not like he used to be.

Otherwise, nothing exciting to report.

Happy Caturday!

Re: 4/5 Cobb AMPS 188

isn't it nice to be able to post "same ol, same ol!" My mom had a poem that I have a poem downstairs now, that this reminds me of - so i'll share it with you. I think, especially for those of us with diabetic cats, or little children, it's got a lot of wisdom in it.

“Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return.”

and Cobb looks fabulous! :-D

Cobb ends the week on a blue note! I got a bit concerned at his 207 at +5, but he quickly corrected course. I'll chalk it up to meter variance.

Matt noted this evening that Cobb hadn't been around begging for food. So someone else has noticed the change as well. I told him that was a good sign!

It is beautiful today. Matt, Matty and I took a walk around the neighborhood. Sadly it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Then again, it was supposed to be a deluge yesterday and we didn't get one drop. Maybe I can get in a quick walk tomorrow morning. It was refreshing! The lady across the street decided to plant a gorgeous flower bed. She just moved in last fall - we lived in a new construction neighborhood. So now she's shown the rest of us up. I told Matt we have to go get flowers for our front lawn now. But we don't have the best green thumbs...any advice on how to keep flowers alive? Hahaha...

I hope everyone had a great Saturday!

Hey Suzanne,

The only advice I would have for keeping flowers alive would be to keep the pet goats away from them. That's a mistake DH and I have made in the past. Otherwise, I'm out of words of wisdom. Of course, if you don't own goats, then I have been completely useless to you!

I'm on your side - that +5 was just meter variance. Cobb wouldn't interrupt a pretty blue cycle with a yucky yellow. ;-)

I hope you're able to get a walk in tomorrow before the rain comes!

petunias and marigolds are pretty hard to kill! not sure what grows in the south, though - we're so soggy around here that my help might be useless! i grow ferns, fuschias, and mushrooms. well, i don't exactly grow the mushrooms, they volunteer. soggyville!
