I need to get a new picture of her up as my Avatar the one I have now doesn't really do her justice anymore, she is so much prettier now...the Avatar is only about 3 months into treating her and she was just starting to put her weight back on. She really is stunning although I'm biased of course...and just so his feelings don't get hurt, I've added Maxwell's picture he is a very handsome boy as well, but since he has been OTJ so long he doesn't get near the billing his pretty adopted sister does.

Yes he is...I so miss having a big fluffy one around the house....but I tell myself I really can't give enough attention to three furkids. But who knows - if I can get Jez OTJ or to a point where I can get away with one petsitter visit/shot a day while on vacation......maybe I'll start visiting shelters again. I like older cats actually - they are generally much mellower and appreciative of having a home.

sorry about the bounce, Lady Mel.
Maxwell looks so much like Cedric...my avitar is of him shortly after he was adopted, and he looks a bit different at 15-16 lbs.

Aha the mystery of the pink pmps may have been solved...I got them some different food to try since they were getting burnt out on the Friskies...so had switched everyone over to 9-lives except for Special Kitty Mixed Grill which she had for lunch...Mixed Grill has brewer's rice and brewer's yeast...my little girl seems to have a grain intolerance...oh well the civies can eat the mixed grill that is left and she will just have to dine on the 9-lives.

Good work Detective Lady Mel.....which 9Lives are acceptable and what is the carb count (if you happen to know0..I don't have them on my list but wouldn't mind switching things up on occasion myself....

The ones I am feeding at least according to Binky's list are around 4 to 5% carbs...whereas Friskies is between 7-9% carbs although I suspect they are slightly higher since they started adding rice..(wish they would just leave the recipes alone). But in the 9-lives there is absolutely no grains of any type and that seems to be making a difference to Autumn..Now Maxwell could care less as long as it is under 10% he stays happily OTJ.

Now if I could just get him to discuss with Autumn how that whole OTJ thing works...lol

Thanks Mel - I was going off the Drs list and missed Binkys - but I'd love it if my furkids would eat some 9Lives.....I'll have to do some shopping. Pre diabetes mine were eating Blue Buffalo grainfree....so it wouldn't surprise me if Jez was grain sensitive.....

Well for the most part the pnly grains any cat should be eating are those that have been processed by a mouse or a bird first..lol

This is true...unfortunately for them, fortunately for me there are no mice or birds in the house for them to nosh on....
