That AMPS would be a bounce for Stella from last nights really low BGs throughout the evening of 45 46 over several hours. Stella seems fine, and I was giving her little bits of food thoughout the eve. Everything is in place this morning in the litterbox and she is very happy. I shaved the dose to a 2 Short. Why? I have started to notice that if Stella's dose is too 'high' she will wake me with a different type of meow tone. It's funny, in my job we talk about tone of voice and how it affects communication in person to person. Think of it as not understanding a language and just hearing the volume and the body language. The overall package. I have fine tuned my undersstanding of Stella and had an aha lately. I can understand a tiny little bit better. Funny thing is, she seems to know that I have picked up on it. I think that is why this week has been successful. I hold on the mornings she doesn't use that specific meow, and I shave the dose the morning she does (when the numbers support that). Crazy, and not exactly protocal...but the shaving of the dose is. Thanks for stopping in last PM with your posts of support. Always nice to know other kharma is out there on Stella's side. ;-)
Stella's tummy bloat is almost completely gone. Is this the new food? Is it the Blood Pressure medicine has taken away undue stress and she is just processing things in her body better? I am not a doctor, all I know is she looks pre-senior/geriatric and she is playing with Boo and wandering around adventurous. Completely different thaan the diabetic state of lethargy and lack of curiosity. Exciting stuff here.
Also, if you missed it we now have given a key to a vet tech from Stella's new Veterianary Hospital office! I am so happy to know that I do not have to worry about Stella during my upcoming trip. She is not available for my second trip...so the search for backup continues...lol...the never ending search for kitty care here in our new home!!!
