[Georgia and Simon (GA)]

Not too much to report this morning. Simon is sunny yellow despite the rainy day in Georgia (and cold!).

The cat that has been hanging out in my backyard only showed up last night so I'm wondering where he is during the day. He always acts so hungry but if he is that hungry and I'm feeding him, wouldn't he be at my house all the time? I still think he must belong to someone else. I have a collar and am going to try attaching a note to the collar and putting it on him. Hopefully, I can get to the bottom of the mystery. If his owner calls me, I am still going to volunteer to pay for his neutering.

What a mystery! I love the note idea. I also love the thought that you are willing to pay for neutering. Good for you. I hope it all works out and I can't wait to see what happens.

Hope you snag the kitty. It is odd. Maybe he sleeps during the day and roams at night. You would think he would hang out by you since you have food.

When Trix first started showing up at our house, she only came around at night time, too, even though she was literally starving to death. When we found her, she was down to 4lbs (as an adult cat), and we could see her skeleton through her fur. I think maybe she was in "primal mode", and felt safer looking for food at night. We have no idea where she was hanging out during the day, but she always showed up at about 7:00 each night for the food we left out for her; she never touched it during the day. We did eventually have to use a trap to get her, though...she was too scared of us.

Hi guys .. Ok simon .. just a wee bit down the ladder and you'll be in some cool blues! Good luck with the note on the kitty .. it is very sweet of you to offer the neutering .. We have a stray dog in our neighborhood that we've been feeding for a few months now .. she's never going to let anyone near her .. She saw peter put down the bowl of food one day, and the next thing I knew, I could see her from my kitchen window dragging it four yards over ohmygod_smile She must of thought it was a trap .. have a great day guys!
