Yesterday's numbers - HE did not get a shot AM or PM. He was down to .1 dose for two days prior. He started eating better early afternoon yesterday and is back to eating good this morning. Poops are still soft but regular.

This morning AM is 82. I am going out of town tomorrow to see family for Easter and he will have to miss two shots while I am gone. Seeing that he is doing so well the past 24 hrs without his .1 dose I am thinking about just trying OTJ starting now. What do you think?
 
I was wondering yesterday whether it might be time to give the OTJ trial a go since you had a miss and he was doing so well, looks like the timing is perfect for it :D

Vyktors not an everyday pooper either, usually every second day. That's probably why I didn't noticed that he'd missed four days until I went back though his diary. The vet gave him a suppository and it cleared him out, I've since given him one at home too! *suppositories shouldn't be given without vet advice as they are not suitable for every occasion and can make some conditions worse* I knew he was in trouble again because his tummy was tight and he was very sensitive in 'the spot'. The spot is on their flanks between the end of the ribs and the tail - either side of the spine.

I keep a better eye on when he's gone now but having added pumpkin and coconut oil to the mix seems to have done the trick. He wasn't having any hard poo, I think his issues in getting it out have been more about lack of muscles in the rear end.
