Happy kitties today - we have bonus sunshine. The original forecast was for a week with rain and now it's not. Neko has settled down in her solarium basket, after begging while I was icing the hot cross buns. What is it about baking that draws her to the kitchen? Wait, I know - butter and flour.

Happy Caturday everyone, hoping for lots of spring time green. My mood swung up earlier today when our rowing coach realized he'd miscounted so I'm back doing the race in the regatta next week. This morning I was in the quad with the people that will be racing with me. As we floated away from the boathouse this morning, we saw the blood moon (last part of the eclipse) hanging over the cove.

Well yeah, what's not to like about butter and flour and sugar?? I would be all over those hot cross buns myself! Try making green salad and I bet she would not be interested! Missed the fact that you were going to skip the regatta, glad you got it sorted- Hooray!! Bet it was a beautiful sight at this morning's rowing session

Gosh, I hope our measly chance of rain didn't go away, too. At least it's cool and breezy here - my kind of weather (although a little less breeze would be nice for the hair).

A blue surf today, Neko? Are you headed to the party tonight? Maybe you can wear something green then.

Harvey is always underfoot if I'm cooking - doesn't matter if I'm baking or roasting or making salad. He doesn't want to miss a dropped crumb.

Great news that you are back in the Regatta next week. Any chance of posting hot cross buns to France, just love them but can't get them here. Unfortunately I'm not a great baker.. Crystal loves butter too, always have to put a little taster on the side for her when making my morning toast.

I can almost smell those hot cross buns mmmmmmmm. I didn't find any vegan ones this year and it's too much to bake for one so I've missed out. To add insult to injury the bakery I get my beautiful Hungarian roll from nearly every Saturday had spent so much time baking their buns that I missed out on my roll!

A green bean fell on the floor and I barely beat her to it at dinner time. That's as close as she got to green today.
