Vet suggests Pro-Pectalin instead of Visibiome for the pudding poop issue since I can't get the dog back https://www.vetoquinolusa.com/products/pro-pectalin The only issue is that both forms of Pro-Pectalin contains sugar The paste is also chicken flavored and Leroy is allergic to chicken. With his sensitive tummy, I'm avoiding even artificial chicken flavors. Thoughts?

Vet wants to put Leroy on Flagyl now. Instead of the yucky liquid Leroy is getting the capsules from Wedgewood. Flagyl didn't help before and I don't expect this time to be any different

Another option is Proviable Forte. Their kit has a KP paste with kaolin and pectin in it to firm stools. Their capsules are sort of like Visbiome, but less concentrated so you have to give more of them.

Flagyl can do a number on the tummy flora, which may make things worse. Another option is Tylan (Tylosin), sometimes that works for Flagyl does not. It tastes foul so will need to be given in capsules.

Lastly, have you tried s. boullardi? I can't remember.

Yes, we tried S boulardii but that didn't help. Neither did digestive enzymes.

That's not a typo I was cleaning the rat cage and emptied their bowl of food into a small container so I could wash the bowl later. I went to the bathroom to wash the storage container bins that hold bedding and Leroy decided to snack on the rat food I expect high yellows if not pink tomorrow from all the carbs he ingested. And / or a very upset tummy

Vet says Tylosin is too bitter and doesn't recommend it. The amount of sugar in Proviable shouldn't affect bgs but we're talking about Leroy here. He is not a normal cat (see paragraph above)
