Yesterday's OTJ Day 1 Condo

Day 2 of Leo's OTJ Trial!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by yesterday to leave your congratulations, wishes, jumping and dancing cats, :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: and pictures of leaping and hula cats and hopes and encouragement. I was an emotional mess in a completely positive way yesterday, excited at something I'd mostly given up on in January, and anxious beyond belief to come home and test last night. I had the testing-itches all day!

I wanted to share something with you. My mom is also a wonderful cat lady and she lurks at Leo's Condo and his SS. She just sent me this email yesterday after reading Leo's Day 1 OTJ Condo:

Leo is looking great! I remember when my kitty was on trial and I LOVED to test him just to see more of those pretty numbers!
I totally get why you had the "testing-itches all day!" :mrgreen:

Its a happy Day 2 for Leo.. :RAHCAT :RAHCAT Cheering him along for another green day. WooHoo.

And yes, I soooo agree with the testing withdrawals! Itgets easier to not test every day. But I still think the longest we've gone is 10 days. Not sure how people wean themselves to once monthly!!!

Hi John/Donna - We've having a great but admittedly VERY ANXIETY-RIDDEN DAY! All of the Lantus has to be out of his system now, right??? This is all HIS pancreas, right???

Hi Mary - I know...it's making me itchy not to test as soon as I walk in the door or when I get up. Since I didn't shoot last night, I kept thinking, did I remember to test him? As if that wasn't the ONLY THING on my mind all day! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi CD - she is. Truly she is. Well, I'm loving the pretty numbers, but I'm almost dreading the test too, fearing a bad number. Ayyiiiiii! But if the trial continues wonderfully (insert lots of anti-jinxes here) I'll probably start looking forward to it as well!

HI Karen - I can't even IMAGINE going 10 days! I'll be like everyone else ... when the cat is just fine but the bean still has the neurosis! :lol:
