Doodles 4/3 Doodles got a full unit dosecrease at PMPS last night so wouldn't be surprised if he's showing some NDW today. We had success at keeping the Lasik spike at bay by giving the R @+2 with the Lasik. We're going for it again this morning so fingers crossed. I do have to leave for a few hours around AM+5....it's tax dooms day.

We're very sad for Suki & Crystal today....holding them both close in our thoughts and prayers.
 
Hmmm...interesting that the spike happened a little earlier today in relation to the lasix.

Wondering if the antibodies grabbed the R and the L is responding to the dose increase with NDW. Or it's food. Or it's Tuesday in China.

We should think about whether giving R at +11 might bind some antibodies before you give the L and have it bind or if you like the way the R seemed to hold the lasix at bay at +2 last night. I wonder if it might be a good idea to try the R at +11 and see what happens.

It's either one or the other correct? At this point I don't have a preference. Should we try the +11?

He just ate a snack @ that +4 because I'm heading out shortly for a few hours. Good news is he started coming down and didn't go up anymore.

No, I don't know that it is. We are just trying to find that magic time that the R will best help him. Why not try it at +11, assuming he will still be up. Use your scale....what do you think?

Glad he's coming back down a bit...or at least is flat.

Ok, we'll try the +11 today but not sure I'd be willing to shoot more @ PM +2. Getting ahead of myself again, if he's over 400 tomorrow morning @ +2 I'm thinking maybe we should try 2.5u R? We can see how today/ tonight plays out.
 
Think he did have some NDW during the AM cycle...at least that's what I've convinced myself of. Just gave Lasik and will get another test around PM +4.5 when he gets his snack.

You're on the right track. There was a woman who helped on FDMB who was just leaving as I was coming on. Jojo had a saying: "Be a tank. A tank always gets where it's going." She helped many high dose kitties and that advice is particularly appropriate for them. I kept it in mind.
