Less Bloo please, Tugger. This week, bloo makes me a little nervous. So go easy on the bloo for mama pretty please?

No dog fights that I heard last night/this morning (I slept in bed last night and let hubby have drooler duty) and no vac monster out overnight so this number is all his own doing. I know, I know, it's still a good number! I'm not freaking out yet ;)

Eating well, yesterday was a piggy day. Bowls were cleaned every time I looked in there and Tugger would be laying pitifully in front of the empties giving me The Look. I'm sure you've all gotten The Look from your kitties too. It's the Look that says "Feed me NAO or I shall die right here in the floor. Or eat your brainz when you fall asleep." It's a very hard look to resist, so I did give them one small extra feeding before bed... to prevent my brainz(what little is left of them) from being devoured in my sleep.

My sis was over Tuesday night, Idol night yanno, and she says Tugger definitely looks slimmer. She sees him about once maybe twice a week so it's easier for her to notice the small changes. I never got him weighed the other day, not sure if I will today or not. I have to get ready for my long day out tomorrow :dizcat

Which reminds me... there will be no condo for Tug tomorrow at all. I'll be gone from about 4:30am (if not earlier) till who knows tomorrow night, usually it's well after 9pm. Hubby won't want to be bothered with it. He'll test before feedings and write the numbers down on the fridge for me to deal with when I get home. I'll be too beat to mess with it when I get in, so I'll update his SS and put a note in Sunday's condo for Sat's numbers.

Tomorrow is going to be SO AWESOME! flip_cat I have been looking forward to this day for 364 days =) I'd live at MDS&W if I could. (Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, 1st weekend of May every year, it is Knitter's Knirvana ;-) ) I shall go and spend all of hubby's monies that I can on yarns I won't have time to knit but which will look SO PRETTY in my yarn drawers :-D I shall pet Alpacas and sheepies and baby lambs and bunnies. I shall drool over spinning wheels I can't have (no room, no time, and omg can you imagine trying to spin with the help of 5 cats and 2 Great Danes?!?! ohmygod_smile I've given up on that dream till we get a bigger house) and I shall have the very best of days. flip_cat

I will not think about FD or GD's or FLUTD or neutering (except as it relates to sheep... or husbands :twisted: , if I must think of neutering at all) I will NOT think about husbands or teenage brats other than in the context of neutering. Really, I won't. That will be easier than not thinking about my critters. I hope hubby has SO MUCH FUN dealing with all seven animals tomorrow :-P~ (oh sorry, my irritation must be showing... hubby ticked me off yesterday so I'm not very happy with him right now...)

Aww, have a great day tomorrow.
Can you get a couple of spot checks today? Three hours after food would be perfect to see.

Tugg, man, you gotta come down off thos bloos for your mamabean! Yeah, that new drooler is probably bugging you a bit, but don't let her--she's just a drooler after all! :lol: You gotta make it over to the falls with me--won't know what to do without you! :-D

Marvie--Have a marvelous time at your festival tomorrow! If it doesn't rain too much I think we're going to take the kiddies to the high school baseball game, but we'll see. Enjoy your day off, and enjoy not having to worry about any of the 2- or 4-legged kids!

Hey, Tuggs, less blue more green please...although this blue isn't to bad, beans would much prefer to see green, especially during gum days, ykwim???? If you don't believe me, just ask Spot....we have the blue vs. green talk everyday and he can explain it to you in kitty words!

Sounds like you have a wonderful day planned tomorrow Marvie! I hope the weather is nice and you think of nothing but sheep, wool, and all those other nice things you mentioned....try not to think of neuter...just happy things!

Jeez, almost forgot...HAPPY DAY 4!!!

Tugger is doing wonderfully.

Sounds like DH could be limping around if thinking something made it so.

Hi, Marvie & Tugger too!! Happy Day 4!!! I am sure PMBG will be green, but I know how "normal #s" can stress us out during OTJ Trials!! :mrgreen:

Yeah, I think he just wanted to show off and make a big drop for you today! He knows you're going to be gone tomorrow and he wants to try to make you stay home...but he's forgotten that he's not getting the shots anymore, so you're not going to worry about the big drops! :lol:

Heh I know right?

I think hubby's a little nervous about tomorrow. It will be his first time alone with the whole crew and there's a lot to remember. I'm so glad Tugger is not getting shots though because you're SO right Mindy, I would worry if he pulled this on insulin! Of course, now I worry about him jumping too high. I guess I'll just have to get used to worrying about one thing or another ;-)

HI Marvie and Tugger, happy Fursday! What a great drop for Tugger and he did it all on his own, how awesome!!!!! Hope you have fun at the festival, what a perfect time for Tugger to be on a trial so you can go enjoy yourself!! Have a fun time!!!

I think if you switch your testing times and do your tests 3-4 hours after food it might help us see how the pancreas is doing -- think you won't see the higher numbers.
That BG 63 says no worry needed here.

So instead of pre-food do it a few hours after food? I'll tell hubby to test him just before second breffis (anywhere between 11 and 1 depending on when first was fed) instead of just before first breffis.

Yes, switch up when you test just don't have it near eating unless you are also testing 3-4 hours after. Most kitties are 3 hours, I say 4 hrs. cause Noisy was a slow poke and took 4hrs. In countdown, I found it interesting to test at different times.

Hi Marvie & Tugger. Chew those fruit stripes on DAY 4!! Wow! DAY 4!!! It sounds like you have a fabulous day planned for tomorrow. Enjoy all the woolies and all the yarns and come home with some great stuff. Maybe you'll have time to knit next winter. Don't worry about Tugger. Stu and all his pals will watch over him and make sure he has a great time at Kitty's party tonight. He may still be out at the party when you leave the house for your fun day!
