just wanted to add that when ketones are in the mix, dehydration seems to come on quickly and worsen.
Even tho Silver had fluids a few days ago, he could still need them more often until the infection is beaten.
Sounds like the vet is really trying to help and that's fantastic.
when he does come home, and still on antibiotics, those antibiotics could affect his appetite with continued nausea issues.
I hope the vet will give you a prescription for ondansetron but even so....
I have some that I could send you right away so you'd have them. Just pm me your address.....
