WCR: Most Ps in place. I've been mostly impressed with her recent LB deposits lately. I stopped giving her miralax about a week ago and while she's not "regular" yet, she's no more backed up than she was to begin with. She's still a bit distant which I hate, but her appy is ok-ish today. Play is still quite elusive for us, but I have strewn her toys around the living room in hopes of tempting her into some play. At best, she goes and sits on them.

OT: We had our little vocal a cappella auditions yesterday and my upset student auditioned for all three of the possible solos (at first she was only going to audition for 2, but at the last minute she jumped in for the last one.) Oh, and just to make sure that it was all justified...I made the kids vote!!! It is their group, after all! There are 14 in the group and one left early. She got beat out on the first song by two other seniors...one of which my student sees as her rival. 
(the other student is most likely going to college for Voice Performance...I think she earns her solos, fair & square!) The 2nd piece, we had guys and girls audition. The guys sang, they voted for the top guy; girls sang, they voted for the top girl (she won it over her best friend); then they voted top guy against top girl...Sophomore Guy won - 8 to 3. (By the way, they were outside while we voted!) Oh Lord! I proposed that we allow both of them portions of the song so that we could showcase both. (I thought it was a decent compromise even though I hate doing that on any song unless there is a vocal range issue.) The rest of the students loved that idea. 
When I told the girl & guy our decision, the guy was super cool about it; the look on her face was a different story. 3 more weeks until graduation!!!!!
