Good Monday, everyone,

Rusty's AMPS has food behind it: he hopped back on the bed, smelling of turkey, 45 minutes before the ducks sounded revile. Then he charged downstairs for his breakfast. We have a hungry boy this morning. We had a good test and shot, turkey-combo plate for breakfast, then a chillax in his little bed next to the radiator, a schmooze with his mamabean, and now another chillax by the radiator. We started out this morning at 20 degrees, but already it is up to 38 and we have brilliant sunshine. Last night was one of those cold, still, bright nights with the waxing moon and the stars in all their glory. The moonlight was so bright that I thought a light was on in my car and went out to check to see if a door was ajar! Rain is expected later this afternoon, but I hope to get out on my bike before then. We are going to have a gradual warming trend. We can't wait to get back in our canoes!

No snackies before the duck Rusty! :lol: He is just a growing boy. Still, brrrrr. :-D I'm glad you are on a warming trend. I bet it will be nice to get back out in the canoe.

Morning Ella - all sounds like a great morning to me! Rusty has the right idea: chillaxin in his bed by the radiator, waiting for sunny days outside. How nice on the clear skies last night.

I hope you can get your bike ride in today before the rains - sounds like me: hope to squeeze in a hike in between downpours. :lol: :lol:

Rusty - no more snackus before testing - even still - looking good this morning. You and Mannie are nearly the same.

Hi guys .. not a bad amps considering there is turkey in there somewhere! Chilaxin the morning away sounds good to me .. We had a gorgeous day here yesterday but it came after a very cold night with a ton of frost that has nearly killed all our tree's and plants this year .. It's a shame really .. Hope you guys have a great day!

Nice AMPS for Rusty, especially with food in the mix!! I find it amazing that Rusty will have saved some food to snack on in the morning. I usually put some out for Champ before I got to bed and he always eats it right then. I definitely can't free feed this boy!!

I hope the rains hold off so you get that bike ride in!! Have a great day!!

Hi Ella, that's a nice AMPS even with the food behind it. And a nice green to follow it! That's cold but glad it will warm up, I spoke with my Mom yesterday in PA, and they're expecting 80's this week! Hope you get a nice bike ride in today.
Thanks so much for the auto repair info. I printed it and am going to read today since it's a "car day." :-D
My car is in the repair shop after being jump started. Glad it happened in parking lot. Have a nice day.

Hi again, everyone,

Decided to do yard work this afternoon because we wanted to get a start on it before the rain arrives. So no bike ride today. We did have a 4-mile walk this morning.
Rusty has had a green day with some outdoor time. The Shadow was here and that irritated Rusty: he doesn't like him horning in on his hunting grounds. Shadow deliberately tries to get Rusty's goat, but Rusty plays it cool and pointedly ignores him!
I gave Rusty a store-brand version of T&G as a small snack at +9 this afternoon (PriceChopper's "Best Friends" T&G). He ate it eagerly, but then was not interested in eating his supper. I think it may not have sat well with him. I hope he doesn't get sick. But even more, I hope he will eat some of his dinner tonight. (the only things he ate were the freeze-dried chicken treats). I hope he's not having another pancreatitis attack.

Thanks for visiting us today. Off now to visit condos. Carolyn, that looks like a terrific paddling expo. It must have been fun--but hectic--to work there for a week.

Let us know how Rusty is doing. I likewise hope it was just a matter of the particular brand of food not agreeing with him. If it is a p'titis attack, you can hopefully catch it early.

Temps in the 30s? Ugh! Hopefully, our weather will head your way. We're going to be in the 80s by mid-week.

Rusty slept in the early evening and then woke up, groomed himself, and went into the kitchen to eat the Wellness turkey I had put out for him. He ate it all at around +3.5. Then, an hour later, he ate his bedtime snack of FF T&G and f-d chicken piece. So I think he's fine. It was just the PriceChopper T&G that didn't agree with him.
At the moment he is still downstairs, playing with his toys and meowing at us to come down and get him and bring him upstairs for bedtime. What a cat!

What a great day for Rusty and how lovely that you all got out for sun and fresh air!

Hope youngest your calipers and scale soon. I also use the scale and love it. Don't forget to zero out the calipers :-D

Auntie Ellabean....it's me...TOBES! Your other best boy. I loved the cimmamum soup! I'm glad you made That mistake! Guess what?! My momma furmindated Gwacie and me TWO nights in a row! I loves it but Gwacie does NOT....but I'm da sweetest boy ever! I lubs you!
 
Thanks for posting the car info in Maggie's condo today, I have tucked the links away for future reference too. Having fixed the lawnmower I think I'm a mechanical genius now :lol:

Good to see the King of the lagoon back where he belongs :mrgreen:
