Yesterday

Good Morning, Everyone,

It's a beautiful sunny morning, 32 degrees F. but heading to the mid 60s. Rusty is napping in his little bed by the radiator (still on!) after eating quite a bit of his breakfast already (saving the rest to graze on in mid morning). He had a good night. Rusty and Edward will hold the fort today and watch out for each other because I am going on a hike to OK Slip Falls, the highest waterfall in the Adirondacks. This hike has been postponed 4 times and we are finally going to do it!

I hope you are home safely from an enjoyable hike, Ella, and that your past injuries didn't give you any trouble. Hopefully Rusty surfed safely while you were gone.

Gee, you're still using the heater and we came thisclose to turning on the A/C today!!! Very strange.

Hi again,

The hike was wonderful: a beautiful day in the woods. The waterfall was impressive. I'll post a picture tomorrow. Rusty spent the day looking for me (according to Edward). I'm going downstairs now to chill out and serve Rusty his dinner on the couch, while watching the ball game.
The hike was about 6.5 miles, muddy but not icy. The drive to get there was 80 miles each way. We carpooled and I didn't have to drive, but I'm tired anyway!
