Sounds good to me. Glad he came up over 50 quickly for you. Hopefully that will be the last of the low numbers for tonight, but please do keep testing him frequently for now.

Was so glad to see the 64. I'll check him again in 10 minutes. He seems fine. And he's absolutely loving all the food.

Sometimes I think cats drop low on purpose just so we'll break out their favorite food! And I agree - always good to see them start to come up again after they've given you a scare.

Rudy's nickname is Foodie because he loves to eat. :joyful:

I'm pretty new to all this. Today was a helluva day for his bg. Thank goodness for this board and its members or we'd be in big trouble.

87 just now at +5.75. Whew. No food given. Will check again in 30.

And since I keep running out of room in the post title - here are all of today's #s til now:

4/30 Rudy AMPS 193, +1.5 140, +2.5 110, +3.5 103, +4.5 92, +5.5 99, +7 113, +9.5 112, +11 150 PMPS 146, +1 101, +2 72, +2.5 62, +3 64, +3.5 76, +4 67, +4.5 64, +5.25 44, +5.5 64, +5.75 87

He's looking great now. Often after a low like he just had, once you start them on their way up, they seem to keep going. But we always have to check - I did work with one cat for a couple of months that would just drop right back down if I wasn't watching closely enough!!

I'm going to watch/test him for another hour. I think he's safe now, but you never know. I also expect him to bounce in the near future, but, again, you never know.

Thank you again for looking out for us tonight. Was nice to know someone was there in case I got all frazzled. :cat:

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a bounce after tonight. But you're prepared for it, which always helps. I think if he stays up for another hour, he's going to be fine. And you're very welcome - I'm happy to have been able to be here for you. :)

Wish he was a little higher than 91. Last HC steer was 2 hours ago. Just gave a spoon of LC with the hope that he surfs now. One more check in 30. Let's hope he's up a few more points. I really wanna go to bed. I'm sure he does too.

I have been looking in, but doing the evening routine with all our cats...and testing Roxi. Good work on getting him over 100 even though it took a bit longer than planned. Hopefully you're asleep by now and won't see this until morning, but great job with those numbers. :cat:

Great job last night Jen!!! I was dealing with my own kitty's 40's last night and missed all the excitement. Rudy really earned that reduction. Congratulations:cat:

Thanks, everyone! Was quite an adventure yesterday. Rudy and I are very grateful for all the help and encouragement.
