Yesterday was a testimonial to the power of a dose increase threat. I truly was all set to give one, wrote about it... I swear too that Mannie reads his condos. :shock: :lol: :lol: so - what does he do?: go green in the AM and PM cycles. Looks like the dose increase is on hold.... for now... Go Mannie - love ya big guy! Never a dull moment - you do make life interesting! cat_pet_icon We do seem to have bounced this morning... I hope he can clear it quickly.

What a glorious day in the PNW yesterday - SUN! It was nice to be able to let Mannie outside for a bit. He took full advantage of it: grass rolling and eating, sun bathing, perimeter patrol. He did well with my DGS too. YAY! We are getting there. :-D :-D Those two will be best buds - eventually! :cool: :lol: All is well in MannieLand. Breffis = clean plate club, testing = purrs and purrs and purrs, poke-a-thons = nanner snuggles, DGS = partial acceptance, sun = outsies!!!. All is well in Mannie Land. nanner napping is now in progress.

My friends! What is up today? I think Rusty should give us all paddle lessons - he's getting really good at getting around in that canoe... :cool: Should we have a beach day? or a pool day? or maybe more dune buggys? or maybe chase lizards at Tess's? or hang out at Zoe's pool? ooooooo - we gots party planning to do too.... Love how the "threat" of a dosecrease works just as well as actually doing it. :roll: :lol: Little bounce and he will be right back to where he should be.

Morning Michelle, I so agree; those were beautiful words remembering Emma.

It sure does look like Mannie was reading his condo as far as the dose increase threat. I see Mannie came down from the yellow floor, so hopefully Maggie will join him. I think Mannie wants you to go on that hike today, so hope he surfs some nice ones for you today.

Hey Mannie, looks like we have some invites to hang out today, so I'm getting ready. I have some snacks all packed in my cooler. Can you picks me up again, thanks, Maggie

Thanks everyone for checking in on Mannie while I was gone. Hike was great, thought his bean misjudged the distance. :shock: what was supposed to be a 6 mile hike was 10.5. :lol: :lol: Looks like I forgot to add in the distance of the access road, which one has to hike to get to the trailhead. oh boy.... barely made it back in time. :roll: apart for that, and that I had to really hustle on the hike out to make it back (and was rewarded with a humongous blister - crap! I never get blisters...) it was awesome!

Blisters, hmm, I remember those. It's been years...one doesn't get blisters, walking half a mile...even uphill :lol:

Hi barb - :lol: :lol: on the darn blister - dang it really hurts, how does one get a blister on the inside between two toes. sheshhhhh! everything rubs there, so I am reminded that it exists. hmmmmm - sounds like a good enough reason to sit and do nothing..... :cool: and yes- look at Mannie go! Guess he didn't want no stinking does increase...

Relaxing, maybe not but feet up and cat on the lap sounds like just what you need w/ that blister. Mannie, the bean is tired and just wants to cuddle. How about it, you don't really want all those extra pokies do you?

112 @ +3. I fed this with a 7% LC, to slow the drop some, and will test @ +4, maybe +3.5.

Ann - :lol: :lol: :lol: and yes: feet up - stoopid blister! i never get those.... and this one hurts. oh well - it will be well soon enough. Mannie says you are right - no extra pokies. oh sure... he seems headed in that direction....

Hi Roni - :cool: :lol: : never a dull moment here.... It was a great day - I had a good time, hike was nice, the feet will be better by the morning. And Mannie seems to have had a good one as well: outsies, and good fuds, and time alone with his nanners.

Sorry I haven't been on your condo all day. It's so great to have Mike home and we just had things to do together. So glad to see Mannie coming down...I'm seeing green for someone tonight!!!

Do I see a 67 at +4??? Is it going to be a long night?? Hi Michelle, Great to hear that you had a good hike today, even if it was longer than planned and even though you got a blister (did you know that the best remedy for blisters is Preparation H?). I thought I was getting one on my hand from paddling, but it's just a sore spot/callous.

Hi Ella - yep, do you believe it? a 67 at +4. well looks like I will be up a little longer... :lol: :lol: :cool: And yes - the hike was nice - it was a desert one over in E Wa, through one of the canyons there - the ridge topside gives 360 view of all the mountain ranges. Rather impressive! I wish I could have stayed longer, hiked the ridge.... just simply ran out of time.... I should have checked my hike log from last year, I would have known then that this was a 10 miler, minimum... oh well: next time! Prep H on the blisters? really? I will have to try that then. I know on the sorespots/callouses - I have some of those too.. fun, aren't they.

Hi Christie - and thx - stoopid thing! It will be better in the AM, or so I keep telling myself.... :lol: :lol: Mannie is having a great night. I hope he surfs soon though, this bean is toast.... :roll: :lol:

59 @ +5, switched to 18% HC w/ gravy, test again @ +5.5. Ok Mannie - time to stop the drops and surf.... please?

ETA: 52 @ +5.5, more 18%, test @ +6

76 @ +6, switched to 7%, next test at +6.5 - hopefully this will be it, as Mannie seems to be on the rise. :cool: just not out of the park though Mannie, OK?
