Morning ~O) ~O) Maggie had a nice, normal range for the AT yesterday. I think she had a nice green and blue surf last night. She did a CPC overnight and only two chatting sessions. The first one I got up, and she had the mouse part of the pole in her mouth. The second chatting session I just picked her up and brought her to bed. That lasted about 10 minutes and then back to her security post with the raccoon spotting duty! I'm a little nervous about my car starting this morning and hope it's just a battery, paws crossed. I looked back at my records, and I had a new batter installed two years ago. They should last longer than two years.
Wishing all a nice day and healing vines for all kitties needing them.

Maggie is looking so good in her blues and greens these days. When does she ever sleep? Nice of her to keep the raccoons away for you. :-D Paws crossed that it is just your battery. Can someone try to jump it and see if that does the trick? Have a great day Ann!

Re: 4/30 Maggie AMPS 122 AT

HI guys .. maggie is looking beautiful this morning .. bet you feel so much safer sleeping when maggie is on racoon duty :-D I hope it is just the battery in your car, but I do agree, they should last longer then 2 years .. have a great day guys!

Beautiful AMPS, Maggie! You are doing so well these days.

Hi Ann,
Bummer on your car. Does it turn over at all? A new battery should certainly last more than 2 years. If you turn the key and get nothing at all (no "trying- to- start- up" sound), it might be a poor electrical connection, or a bad starter motor or alternator. Do you belong to AAA? If so, give them a call to see if they can jump- start it. If they can get it going, take it in to your mechanic. If they can't get it started and have to tow it, make sure to read your owners' manual to see if your car is one of those that must be put on a flatbed.

I hope you don't have a "car" day today!!

p.s. Here's a website that might prove helpful, if only to let the mechanic know that you are not a mechanical idiot!:

It looks like a nice surf day so far for Mags. She's sawing noisy logs right now!

Thanks Melissa and Devon on the cycle Maggies. Unfortunately, she sleeps all day. I need to do something about that and soon! :-D

Ella, thanks on the car help. You know a lot about cars. I just went out, and the car does start but just won't turn over. Yes, thank goodness, I do belong to the AAA Club and have not had to use it in years, so I'm about to call them and also my auto mechanic which opens at 7 am! Thanks again.

Hi Ann, I just found another helpful car site ("for Dummies"). I added it to my previous post.
Good luck!!

  Thanks Ella. I need all the help I can get in that area.

ETA Seriously I love those books. I had one on computers when I was just learning.

Re: 4/30 Maggie AMPS 122; +3 132 AT

Hi Ann. Thank goodness Maggie's not giving you any trouble since you have your hands full with your car!! Hopefully, it will be a quick, in expensive fix!! FYI, all batteries have a period of time they're supposed to last (48 months, 60 months, etc.). If your battery was supposed to last longer than 24 months, you'll be able to turn it in and either get a free battery or they'll at least prorate the price (only making you pay for the period of time it was used). I hope you remember where you bought it!! Sometimes that's the hardest part....trying to remember when you did things and where!!

Have a great day otherwise!!!

+7 166

I think this is a little stress with the 166! The Relion read at 145!

I had my car towed but it took a little longer than expected. My repair shop gave me a ride home, and Mags was waiting by the door wide eyed!

Thanks Ella for the links on Auto Repair, very helpful. I printed them and am going to read today since it's a "car day". The Auto Club jump started the battery and mentioned that even though it's only two years old, I might need a new one since I do a lot of short trips and stopping and starting. He followed me to the repair shop which was really nice just to make sure it didn't die on me mid trip. I'll wait for a call from them. They'll do a diagnostic test on their equipment and check everything.

Patty, thanks for that info on the battery. I didn't know that and something they don't always mention when purchasing. I did buy it at this same repair shop. I keep good records so was able to locate it. Yes, Mags surfed today, so that was helpful of her. :-D

Hi Roni, I didn't have any appointments today, so no problem there. Maggie likes to do greens at night, it seems when I get sleepy.

Re: 4/30 Maggie AMPS 122; +3 132; +7 166; PMPS 147 AT

Ann, I'm so sorry to hear about your car. I hate having car trouble and it is just as expensive as the vet to get things fixed. Maggie must be like Simon...if it is getting time for you to be home and you are one minute late, the blood sugar goes up. Looks like the stress level is decreasing with the PMPS.

Hope you get your car back and it is an easy fix.

PMPS 147

Georgia, that's exactly what happened with the 166, as I took it when I got back from dropping off my car. I left in a hurry and then came back to get my cell phone and hurriedly left Maggie a snack. I guess Mags picked up on my stress. Good news it isn't the battery. Bad news is they haven't quite figured it out, so they kept it overnight! I hate car stuff, too. It's something electrical. I don't know how long Maggie was waiting by the door, but she looked worried.

I hope you get your car back soon - and inexpensively, too! Looks like Mags brought it down a bit by PMPS...she must've missed you :-D !

Gosh, if the power of LL can heal Simon's tushy, maybe we can heal your car too!

It sure is worth a try Anne!

Amy, yes I think Mags was stressed since I left in a hurry! She has since calmed down and gave me a green tonight!

Hi Ann - so sorry for the car trouble. I hope it is nothing serious. It was so great of the AAA/tow guy to follow you to make sure you got to the repair shop. Paws crossed that it is an easy repair. I too hate car stuff....

Poor Maggie - she must have been worried - I can so see the look on her face. It shows in her numbers too - a slight rise this AM. It is good to see her back to green tonight.

have a great rest of the evening. :-D

Loving all that green on Mags! And it's always important to have girl chat sessions!

Sure hope all goes well with your car and it isn't an expensive fix.

Hi Maggie, you want to sneak out tonight for a romantic picnic at the park, I got a couple of racoons lined up to be our waiters - we better not take the car again though I think I did something bad to it last time - oops - love Vyktor xxx
