Good morning!
I got to sleep in til 7:30 today, Lulu`s injection wasn`t til 8:45, because of last night's 2.5 hour late shot. She's starting off in the blue, I wouldn't be surprised to see her in the green next test time.
I got an email from our vet last night, in response to one I had sent her. She's fully supportive of home testing, and is very pleased with Lulu's results and dosage adjustments. This site is the reason for Lulu doing so well, you guys know what you're doing, and we are very grateful.
Enjoy your day!

How great that your vet is open to home testing. Lulu is doing great. What a nice start for a late shot last night.

Thanks, Carla, I`m taking her in to the vet tomorrow afternoon, this diarrhea she`s had for days hasn`t improved much, despite the Forti Flora and pumpkin; I`m also worried that her poor little bottom must be sore.

On a happier note...she`s in the green:)

Her numbers do look beautiful. Sorry to hear about the continued diarrhea. :( I hope the vet can find an easy solution.

Thanks, Wendy, I hope so too. I have a feeling she may attribute it to Lulu now being on an all-wet diet, but the other two eat the exact same thing and their poops are just fine.

Lulu is back to being pretty hostile about ear pokes. Continuous growling while I`m poking, and back to hiding under the dining room chair when I approach her :(

I have a lot of those types of hostilities to deal with too.

My vet likes to find lots to blame on wet diets. She just gets a blank stare from me.

is she excited about her treat? if not, maybe you need to explore until you find one that she is excited about. They suddenly get
very cooperative.

I think she`s p.o.`d because we had a tough time the other night getting blood and she had to endure several pokes. She loves Orijen Wild Boar, so she is happy to get some of those. In fact I have twelve little legs come running when I bring those out.
Things are working for Lulu`s diabetes, the guidance from people on this forum have helped me bring her numbers down this far. I`m starting to feel some hope that she may go OTJ in the near future.
I used to buy ALL my cat food at the clinic, I think the vet believes that these are the best food products for kitties, but the Friskies and FF pates seem to be working fine for my three. I love my vet, but find the advice and info on this forum to be the go-to place to manage diabetes.
