the tiny dose of .25 is hard to do, physically. any1 have a hard time? like when u push it down from .50, its very hard not to lose the whole dose, to stop at .25. i guess itll get easier. poor guy, i hate that i cant do things a lot better. i can only do my best. trying real hard to get it on .25.

On the tiny doses instead of pushing the plunger try drawing up to .5 and screwing the plunger to the dose you want.

i do that mel, it still squirts too much out, usually. i guess itll get easier. i dont have a lot of feeling in my hands/arms so maybe thats why its hard. fine motor skills r challenging, like brushing teeth, typing, etc.

is there a video of screwing the syringe posted? i do it but its as hard or harder on a tiny dose to me. would be nice to watch, just to double check how its done. :)

Love seeing these yellows for Larry... goooo Larry! I can sympathize on the smaller dose being difficult to measure. I feel that way too. The lines on the syringes are already so tiny, then try to split that between two lines to get a .25, and yikes!

Larry has a blue!!! yay! I just looked and he hasn't had a red since 4/6 and hes been coming down slowly but surely. I think youre on the right track. And youre doing a great job testing too! :thumbup considering your health issues. Bravo!!

thank u laura! i really need/ed that! the encouragement and kindness i receive helps me keep going :) i love larry and i dont have any1 to talk to about him. just typing here is all. hope ur moms doin well. i think its u that has a mom help...

Aww.. youre welcome Pam. I can tell you love your baby very much and he loves his momma bean too! Why do our sweet kitties have to get this bad disease :sad: We do the best we can, that's all we can do. And yes my mom lives here and is testing now, but she gets very stressed easily, and it can be wearing on me. I have to be patient with her, after all I really am glad she is trying and doing good and don't want her to give up. Ive had to come home from work twice when she called me with a low number and wasn't prepared to handle it mentally. It is a pretty scary thing to see a 32!! So please just do your best and seek advice if you need it. There are a lot of skilled people on here to help not me so hang in there..

aww that is so sweet! i can imagine that would be hard to be patient with her...but having a mom, and a person willing to help is priceless, at the same time. :) i am sure she really loves u, and the kitty, to do that.
