Another AM cycle, another chapter in "I have no idea what's going on."
It seems to defy the "precipitous drop hypothesis" (large overnight drop causing a rebound the following cycle) because last night he only moved 100 points in 12 hours. He didn't start out too high nor did he end up too low.
It seems to defy the "low AMPS hypothesis" (low AM reading causing a rebound) because neither this 80, nor the blues on the 25th or 26th, correlate to a lower PMPS or flatter cycle.
It's not food-related because he was having some serious cattitude this morning and wanted to go look out the window instead of eating any fud. So he had a few bites of 4% food for breakfast and that's it, unless he came back to it later when I wasn't around.
That leaves either:
"The injection site problem" - Though, I've been keeping the shots in the same general area that seemed to be effective when OH was away.
OR
"The late nadir hypothesis" - It's possible that the issue stems from him hitting his nadir at AMPS, but I'm don't know enough to explain how or why that would make a difference. Or, why it would be an issue now but not 10 days ago.
I know, I know, focus on the whole cat, not the numbers. Jenks as a whole cat is fine and unfazed by any of this. As a whole-cat caretaker, however, I'm can't help but be fazed. I'm just uneasy seeing the color shifts on the spreadsheet and not knowing why, when I've gone out of my way to ensure that everything is being done as consistently as possible.
