I'm thinking he's still bouncing, but I am still really frustrated with these high numbers. It's been 3 months since he's been diagnosed and there's no sign of evening out or being anywhere near a steady dose. Should we switch insulins? I feel like we're stuck.

We should be getting his denamarin soon. Does anyone have much experience with that?

You might want to put "denamarin ?" in the subject line, to draw eyes to that question. I have seen people use it before, don't remember there being any issues with it.

Hugo had a nice little stretch of green a few days ago. But if he doesn't find green again by tomorrow night, you can increase again. It is super common to have to go up and down in dose, part of the reason we call this the feline diabetes dance. It's also quite common to see cats be quite bouncy - he hasn't been on insulin that long relatively speaking. And a cat's beta cells can heal, which also changes the amount of insulin needed. Very few people stick at the same dose for any length of time.
