Bubu and her mum Rea are getting used to the new routine of having snacks mixed with a little water every 2 hrs. Bubu likes it. She's feeling better already. Ketones are low today. let's hope the dose increase will lower her numbers.
what amount of subq fluids is safe for a 2.2kg cat?
maybe 40ml?

I think the more water she will get through food the better. She could try 40ml and see the reaction and how long it takes for the fluid bump to go away. It’s great she’s feeling better and adjusting to the new schedule. I think they usually like to eat smaller amounts more often as too much at once can make them nauseous so they get used to that and it helps level the bg. See what others think about fluids as to whether to give any. Does she seem dehydrated?

She does not look good. Partially because she is so skinny. I’d try 40ml and see if it perks her up.
