WCR: Surprisingly, I slept well AND I had a soft kitty next to me the whole night (at least she was there when I fell asleep and when I woke up. I thought, for certain, that I would be miserable all night because of the facial/body flushing! :-| But we were all good. Got a few snuggles (and purrs) when I woke up, but she was much more interested in me getting up and feeding her!! Just had a tiny bit of preening. Now she's napping next to me. 1 pee pile waiting for me in the LB. No poo yet. She has been stalking my hand just now...so I consider that to be play this early in the morning! :razz: Overall, she seems pretty okey dokey!
As for me, (knock on wood/anti-jinx) no hives this morning; no headache this morning; and no facial/body flushing this morning. Not to say they won't rear their ugly heads today, but I'm staying hopeful. My back feels about the same as yesterday, which is ok. Calf is still very stiff and numbness on bottom of foot. Say a prayer for a happy/loose calf and feeling in my right foot!!! :razz: Dear goodness, I don't wanna go back for shot #2. I want this shot to do the trick!
Rhiannon, Benedryl does not do anything for me...well, except it makes my hives more intense!! When my hives started back in 2005, that's what I tried. Benefit: it knocks me out, so the itching is not a problem... until I wake up and my hives are bigger and meaner! :-x Then some of my doctors (specialists: allergist and dermatologist) prescribed different medications; including prednisone (bad idea!!!) Then, never fear, they all started me on Zyrtex. After the first time it didn't work, I tried telling the other doctors that I was the 1% that received the side effects of Zyrtex...HIVES!!! Really nasty and intense hives. Apparently, I just like to be different! :roll: :sad: Guess my body just really likes whatever Aleve has in it!
