Yesterday
Good morning and Happy Sunday! It is the day of the New Moon today. Shadow has 3 Ps so far today and is his usual happy purring self. Might be a busy testing day for him since it looks as if the Lev got his attention. I went up to the 3.0u instead of doing the skinny cause his numbers have been so ugly lately and well, now I am am wondering if the skinny would have been better to do. Oh well, he will show me soon enough if he was the skinny dose, right?

I am going to have to get the carriers out today ins prep for Tuesday's vet visit. After the blood results come back for the pair of them, we will be scheduling their dentals. Oh golly, how I hate dental days. :-| One of those days when it's hard to be the Mama, ya know? But, I know it's for their own good and I am looking forward to better numbers in the weeks to come after that work is done.

I have a visit with my own doctor tomorrow and he will look at the blood work I just had done and give me his thoughts on how the medication is working. (but, he is a fan of doing the RAI 131 treatment so he will no doubt try to convince me that now is the time to do that. Killing my thyroid with radioactive iodine is not on my agenda for this year ~~or next~~so we might have a slight difference of opinion.) We shall see what develops.... I must say that my hands have stopped shaking and I believe that I am feeling better and better after that first month passed. My heart is not beating super fast anymore and any exertion is not met with a feeling that I will have a heart attack if I don't sit down! My breathing is much better too! My attention span is not improved much though...but....Thankfully, I am feeling much, much better!!

I'm just stopping by to say hi. I am glad to hear that you are feeling a little better. I hope the kitty b/w goes well. I know it's no fun for bean or for kitties.

I know what you mean about kitty dentals. But you've had good results in the past haven't you? I mean your vet does take good care of your babies. Keep that in mind and it might help a bit.

The opposite happened to me and now I have a moratorium on dentals... probably an over-reaction, but I can't help it. I'll just say that the vet removed the 500 dollar dental charge from my bill without me even asking her to do so. Sigh....

On a happier note, I'm glad you are starting to feel better. You've had to be so patient in all of this. I hope your doctor listens to you about no zapping (medical term :roll:) of your thyroid.

Pat, I'm glad you are feeling a little better and Shadow is looking very good. Hopefully, he will not try to prove you too wrong with the regular dose instead of the skinny. I know you don't want a lot of drama today since you already have a lot to think about with the doctor and vet visit coming up this week. Hope the rest of your day goes well.
