vet visit today .. im hoping his HCT isn't terrible..

also, peanut hates the Tiki Cat. hates it, won't eat it. He likes his Merrick... idk what we gon' do. im trying to track down what I can.. and waiting on some clarity or a breakthrough w that lol. got some I found to pick up.. yay.

been trying to get to all the things but there's been so much, trying to catch up now..
also need to put things up on the kidney forum so maybe they see something.. still ...... tho idk if if they will.
im confused about bebe's numbers.. maybe should do a lite dose of Telmisartan.. tho idk. we started seeing some nice greens on the same dose been on.. today some nice ones too..
and hadn't changed anything. glad didn't?? like... ugh idk. his BP seems to monkey w his BG...... something else to juggle. yay.

Here are a few turkey options I found when I was looking at single-source protein foods, but as I've said before, a lot of them may only be available to order online, which I remember was a concern for you. Not entirely sure what to do about that part.

Rawz - tends to be sold by specialty stores, they have a store lookup page

Unfortunately it sounds like Merrick is officially discontinuing their limited ingredient diet foods for cats.

ty allie!!! I appreciate u taking the time to look into it.. I also found something called Open Farm, and right there's Koha and Hound and Gatos.. what a hassle. a lot of ppl are mad lol.. let's see.

Sorry I will be no help with food. I was doing raw until bird flu and slightly rising but still normal phosphorus got me cooking my own. First check since that drove the numbers down. Nice bg numbers.

eh idk how it went. I've been upset since the visit.. vet was a bit weird, and visit was short.. I wasn't sure what I was expecting.. I keep hoping to hear differently I think but we don't.. he got some flea treatment cuz the 20 min we were outside in the front bugs jumped on him.......... smh. chubbs also hasn't been feeling good.. but that could've been becuz of the bugs. or the visit itself.. or his health stuff. had to get checked out w a temp reading in the butt right.. plus he had to get pilled and his revolution put on.. he was annoyed. tonite tho.. I got some time out the house cuz I found his food (yay) and also ordered more online.. they had! lets see... and he seems to be feeling improved.. so that's good. his B Comp and Niacinimide went badly in the AM.. he didn't take em today. oh well. I was upset.. but its his life too.. he don't wanna take em one day.. is ok.

Oh no. Sorry I thought it had gone well.
I’m sorry you are feeling upset.
And that’s always my fear of them picking up some critters when they go to the vet office

We are doing fine, thank you
Ivy was a little grouchy yesterday so I let her sleep the day away in her room.
I normally like to get her to the upstairs where there’s more light. I hate her spending too much time in her basement condo. Not enough natural light there (only a small window in her room).
Today she will get booted to that upstairs where she can nap on her comfy chair she likes
I hope Pudge feels well today and you can get some time to rest and recover. You’re doing such a great job with your sweet boy!

With all you have going on it would not be as easy to make your food. I just cook the protein and add a completer. With high phosphorus you could do it but would need a nutritionist I think to tweak the formula. That’s what Staci has done.

Correct, my nutritionist has formulated the recipe for us (low, medium, and high carb recipes) then we add Balance It and some other stuff to the recipe.

Just omega 3 Snip Tip capsules, calcium carbonate, mayonnaise, Morton lite salt.
