Pepper ate a lot between +5.5 and +6.5 and he still dropped to 62. he just ate a LC snack. Should I test soon and see what he's doing? (I'm going to - just wondering what others think of this) Is his dose a little high?

I'd test in 1/2 hour and see what's happening. The snack at +5.5 may have caused his pancreas to kick in and drop the numbers a bit.

Has it been a while since he's had any food? I'd test again in an hour, but nice to see him come back up. It's great that he's spending more and more time in these nice numbers. Paws crossed his liver is getting the message.

Don't worry, after a while those numbers under 200 become addictive. :lol:
Have you ever had to give Pepper HC? Just wondering if you have any experience in what it does to his numbers. Once you've had to go through steering his numbers with food once or twice, you'll be more relaxed about lower numbers. Until then, nailbite_smile is very common.

No, I've never had to give HC to Pepper. After all this time, I still have no experience steering numbers but I'm starting to think that time might be coming soon. And I do feel nailbite_smile . Thanks Wendy and Dyana.
