It seems it takes Neko a while to get over her NDW. I was wide awake in the middle of the night (+6) so I took a test - 476. I was so disappointed. I'm sure everyone feels the crush of emotion involved with this roller coaster but it is taking so long to see any improvement. Lots of self doubt and wondering what the symptoms are for a dose that is too high. I really hate that Freestyle meter I was using at first. We had seen a 109 way back at dose 2.5 on March 15th, the next lowest on March 28th - a 216 was at dose 2.75. Until this morning there were 4 doses of 3.25 units and mostly icky red.

But a little ray of sunshine is peaking through this otherwise rainy day. Finally, the first daytime yellow! Kind of fast drop though, so I imagine there will be bouncy consequences.

Oops, just did the +4. Blue skies - gonna be an interesting next couple of hours.

A little blue surfing going on. I'm breaking out the Wellness Turkey for a bit more carbs than raw and she liking that. Although not the fact that mommas hands are shaking enough it took 3 test strips and a lot of stabs for the last number.

I think Neko was sick of that spreadsheet showing nothing but red/pink.

yahoo! Just surfing along on the blues. I broke out the Wellness because I didn't want her to drop too far too fast. The last pokey got a dried chicken treat. We want to see how long we can keep this going on.

Yeah, still down in blue land without a bounce. Coming up nice and slowly. I finally have a better idea of where her nadir is.

She has spent most of the afternoon napping on the computer bag. The best part is that for the last couple of hours she isn't giving me her "I'm starving" panic looks anytime I go near the kitchen. I can really tell when she is dropping quickly.

Whoo hoo Neko it is so nice to see you in blue. Tee hee if WendyBeans hands are shaking from blue imagine how she's going to feel when you dance on the green floor - pull out the smelling salts!

It feels a bit like winning the lottery when those nice numbers come up doesn't it

Yes, I definitely feel like it's a lottery win after the nasty colours of the last few weeks. And nice to see her rising slowly instead of slamming into that red wall like she has been doing so quickly after all the other brief dips into yellow or blue waters. Of course, that could still come later tonight...

I'm going to be away for the next few hours. Too bad, I'd like to see how long this run would have gone. But Neko will be just as glad to have the pokey take a break.

I just read through your condo from today. What a change 6 hours makes!! You asked for blue; you got blue.

Normally I'd wait until a +2 to test, but she's been acting STARVED. She had a 1 inch piece of chicken neck at +1 but it didn't keep her satisfied for long. I'm trying to hold out for 20 minutes to give her the rest of dinner at +2. At least she seems to be going down slower than today.
