4/3 Minnie home w/tube, PMPS 105, +1 148, +3 342, +5 370

I have no experience with R so can’t help you there but I don’t think I would be giving any at the moment after the day you have just had.
Most likely a bounce from all those low greens this morning. And she could still be feeling the effects from all the high carb food she got earlier.
Great the negative ketones! and eating some on her own! Yay!

I think I would try and give her some lower carb food if you think you can make it into a slurry. The a/d is around 12 to 13% so that is a bit higher than low carb but if that is what you need to give that should be fine.
How does she seem in herself.? And how are you?
I don't have a/d but made a batch of a low carb slurry, Weruva tac tac whoa is 8% carb and low fat. Less calories than the w/d so I had to do some maths. The whole exercise was very slow and painful but I have 2x 100ml batches now one HC and one LC.

She's at 370 @+5, vet would definitely say to give the R but I can't face it. Will do another feed I guess then try to get a bit of sleep, 3am now.

I don't think she's feeling too great but hard to say. She could be poorly or she could just be tired. I am exhausted and really hoping she starts to eat regularly. Having my first real hypo and first day with feeding tube without any hands-on demo - not fun. Hard to concentrate on a 16min youtube demo when you're first tube feeding is during a hypo!

So grateful to have all you around to support and advise. I honestly don't know if or how I would have coped otherwise.

I opened an eye earlier, and saw Minnie was doing ok and you had additional help. Tried posting sooner, but had internet issues . Hope you can get some sleep.

ETA: she's still staying pretty flat from +3-+5, so it may be that she might have a little later onset. She could also be in a bounce. Either way, you can still think about giving R next preshot if she doesn't come down by then.

Nice job yesterday! You must be exhausted. The nice thing about R is that it's always optional. I think it's fine to give her a cycle or so to see if she comes down on her own.
