I'm sorry to hear Maverick's appetite is still down. Sending good vibes for his appetite to improve and hugs. Good for you going to the Y for exercise. I wonder if doing laundry would count for exercise for me! Take care and feel better for you, too, after nap.

Hi Karrie,
So sorry to hear about Maverick's loss of appetite. I was wondering, how are things in the LB? Does he ever quit eating when he's constipated?
Glad you've got a vet appointment tomorrow. Will be sending good vibes for Mav today...

Hi Karrie...I'm also sorry to hear he's not eating on his own and is feeling the pain of arthritis. It can be so crippling and debilitating for them.

Glad you got out to the Y...GOOD GIRL!!! Now you'll have an energy infused day :-D :-D

Well a nap turned into a three hour sleep. Wish I was one of the ones that were energized from exercise. I tried to syringe feed him Turkey wet food and he kept spitting it out. In a few hours I'll give him the chicken flavour.

So sorry that Mav's appetite hasn't improved, Karrie... but I'm glad to see that you are still taking care of yourself. Going to at least get in a walk this afternoon, and may join in an early evening pickup softball game after Willie's shot as well.... or go practice my serve as it just occurred to me that all my softball stuff is in storage, and it's a bit of a drive to go get it, and i'm in lazy mode today!

Hope the vet gets to the bottom of Mav's issues... Thoughts and prayers for quick, healing relief coming your way!!

Awww Karrie. I have nothing inspiring to say. I'm sorry that Maverick's not feeling like eating. I know how it feels to be worried that he won't eat. Hug to you.

Hi Karrie - sorry that Maverick still won't eat much. Poor guy. I hope that it will improve soon.

Nice that you went to the Y as tired as you were. I find that for me it still helps to do the physical stuff, even when I am worn out. I wish I could nap like that - it just never seems to work for me

I hope you guys have a great afternoon!

Awww, I hate to hear that Maverick is not eating. That is so stressful. I'm glad to hear you are going to the vet and hopefully, he will be able to figure out what is wrong with the baby. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

I'm glad to see a vet appointment is in the works...it is so tough when they won't eat...

C'mon Maverick just a little bite of food...

Karrie, I hope Maverick eats a little for you tonight. It must be so scary wondering why he isn't eating. Glad you are going to call the vet and I hope they can figure out what is going on. Come on Maverick, please eat for your mamabean!

I'm sorry that Maverick isn't eating much...I know what a helpless feeling that is. I hope the vet can figure out why his appetite is waning. As for the arthritis, my Jackson is responding pretty well to Cosequin but I'm sure you're already going that route.

Sending eating and healing vines to Maverick and hugs to you. :YMHUG:

Hope Maverick feels better soon.

So sorry Maverick isnt eating well! It drives me crazy so I know how you feel! Wish I could send Mav Moonie's appetite--this kid can eat!-Both our cats have arthritis & for the 2 days it rained, neither of them moved..
They are both on Dasuquin which is a little stronger than Cosequin, and it seems to help..
Hope vet finds Mav's non eating & he feels better--We lubs you both & Send giant Healing Hugs! :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Hey Maverick, You've gotta eat, man!!

Rusty

Hi Karrie, I hope the vet can figure out Maverick's inappetence. Have you tried sprinkling a little FortiFlora on his food? Many of the kitties really like that. (Your vet will have it if you don't want to take the extra time to get it from one of the online places.)
Good that you got in some good sleep time today. Clearly it's what you needed. I hope all will go well at the vet's.

Have a good evening,

Ella

C'mon, Maverick - eatin' is way fun!

I hope he gets his appetite back really soon...poor little guy, and poor you. Good luck with the vet. We're thinking of you over here...

No he isn't on cosequin. I have it but there was no way to give it to him without stressing him out or worrying he'd go off food. The pills are just too big to give him two of them.

Now that I've found pure meat babyfood I can easily do this once a day.

poor kitter - it sucks to feel crummy. i don't have any arthritis experience, but am just wondering if heat helps. you know how we make rick socks for their ears? i had the same kind of thing made with beans and it stayed warm a lot longer. just thinking it might feel good for maverick and if not, you could snuggle up to it and feel better.

i hope tomorrow is better for both of you.

btw, i posted in marjorie's condo about the animal soul comment - i'm with ya.
