Morning,

Did a curve on Saturday, I think it looked ok.
on other days some pinks showing up, we don't like pink.

I am wondering if maybe he is getting his feeder at noon, but not eating it all, and then snacking on it after 4.00pm, which is within the 2 hours of his evening test? Sound like a possibility?

His vet thinks he is ok on 1 unit right now, I am not sure. She says he is staying between the 150 & 250 for midpoint range.

He looks great, fur is shiny and soft, he loves to clean himself in the window, water & urine fine, pooping fine. walking good, little climbs, couch or bed high!!

have a great tuesday.

Personally if he was my cat I would be bumping him up to 1.25 that is still way too much yellow for me. If you are looking to get him in remission at some point, then the idea is to get him into as close to normal numbers as possible for as long as possible. Keeping him between 150-250 is going to keep him on insulin since it isn't giving his pancreas the support that it needs to rest and heal.

Even with Musette who I doubt will ever go into remission I try to keep her in the blues and greens as much as possible, okay so the last few days she has been a little too green, but by keeping her in safe normal numbers I keep hoping for a miracle with her. :-D

But I think right now the biggest question is how are YOU feeling? If you are still suffering with the vertigo then I might be tempted to let him stay a little higher a little longer until momma bean feels better. Don't want to up his dose and have him suddenly crash and you not be able to test often because of the spins. But if you are backto feeling pretty good then I would say up the dose by .25u and see if you can get those preshots down some.
