I am thinking of just dropping to a drop while gone for 4 days. It is about what he receives now.

Based upon recent B/W he has been deemed as no longer diabetic, but I think he still needs a little help with the pred still in the mix.

Think I should start that now? It would be easier then measuring .1u then slowly trying to get 6 drops out of it. Plus I just broke my glasses so I can see it!

I would try that tiny dose now. Then you have time to see how he does on it before you go.

From yesterday.
so do you just ride it out? He is still on all his meds, I haven't touched those. Though I did notice a metronidazole that was spit back out from the other day.
Vomiting was civie Theo's main symptom of his GI issues. He was on metronidazole for the longest time and that mostly controlled it - maybe every couple of weeks vomit then. But if he missed a med, food would come up. :banghead: Unfortunately it took going to pred to really solve his problem, along with Leukeran. We never did try budesonide with him - wish I had. Neko's GI symptoms were foamy vomit and a bit of constipation. Budesonide solved it. ECID.

It sounds like a good idea to go back to the regular food, at least until you are back.

Thanks Wendy. I am tossed what to do in the end, but I will freeze the homemade food and go back to his regular diet for now. Will to ensure he is getting what he is supposed to for now for meds. Not eager to go to the Leukeran, but am interested to see if the budesonide will help more with the inflammation vs. the pred. That said, if it is lymphoma that is progressing...:(. Just a big let down from the fantastic health check and blood work results. :blackeye:

Maybe it was the missed dose, with new food, with???? god knows. Just worried that if the current meds don't hold symptoms at bay then where do we go from here. Just was surprised as he was eating and feeling so well.

OK, so he ate all his fuds today but did not really tuck in for dinner. BG is higher than expected and not what I wanted to see just before leaving. That said, anti-jinx and super duper anti-jinx - no vomit incidents during the day. DH said Jones was very sucky and wanted to sleep on his lap. He is now sleeping on his bed and he is not loafed anymore just curled up. Praying this latest episode subsides.
