Does it really take around 5 days to fill the shed? Would the fact that the vet gave him fluids also dilute the insulin (extra fluid under the skin, along with the insulin)?

Currently getting 1.0 u.

Re: 4/3 Guinness AMPS 345, +3 348, +6 363...

Hi, Linda,

I don't know Guinness' background, but I think it does take up to 5 days for the shed to fill.

I see you had some blue last night, though -- I'd say you're getting there!

Sorry, no help on the fluids issue, but here's a bump.

They say that "patience is the name of the game". Just hang in there! I don't think that giving fluids would water down the insulin in the shed. I've never heard anyone say that. But I think I have read that giving fluids lowers the bg.
So keep on doing what you're doing and in a few days things will settle into place.
