Yesterday's Condo

Gabby was all cuddles last night. She kept waking me up when she would drape herself across my chest. She would headbutt my hand and wanted her chin and ears scratched and would then slide down until she was in a perfect position to have her belly scratched. Her purrs helped me fall back asleep.

Awwww who loves their bean Gabby. I'm curious what Gizmo was doing while you were having your love in though.

You are presupposing that Gizmo can stay in one place for more an an hour! He began the night crashed between my legs. (And, yes, my cats have me well trained -- there are only certain positions I'm allowed to be in for sleeping.) He moved to the end of the bed, to the bench by the window, was on the windowsill, in his cat tree in a different room, sprawled in the doorway, and back on the bed in the morning. He's a very busy boy.

Sounds like Gizmo didn't let you get too much sleep last night! (or does he wear a GPS with a memory tracker?) Nice start to Gabby's day.

i'm afraid i'm in need of a daily WBR (whole bean report) until you're back on your feet again. how are you doing?

the kitties sound like they are enjoying having you home! very nice numbers for miss gabby today!
 
OK, Julie, here's your WBR: My throat is still sore from the surgery. It's not bad but noticeable if I forget the pain meds. I've cut back on the meds because I need less and because they are upsetting my stomach. The incision which is superglued (vs. sutures), is looking more bruised but that's expected.
 
ack. it sounds awful.

good thing you've got some time off - that was a wise choice. i'd send you some ice cream for your throat, but i'm afraid it might not be too yummy by the time it got there.

if you don't like shakes, do you like floats? i have some A & W and vanilla ic . . . i hate to admit that i usually have junk food around! :lol:

*looks around furtively* come see me for da junk food yummies
 
I'm glad you're on the mend, Sienne. And Gabby is such good help. :-D How did you get any sleep keeping track of Gizmo? :lol: :lol: You're better off at Julie's, no junk food here. We do have many lbs of dark chocolate though.
