Looking pretty good so far. It's been a busy morning since I had to take that rescue kitten back to the vet this morning. It had a huge hump on its back which was an abscess (it was there the other day but the other vet had ignored/missed it .. even though he had her anesthetized to clean the maggots out of the other burst abscess!) Anyway, that was NOT my regular vet where Darcy goes.

I'm going to grab some food now and test Darcy (not in that order) and will update with the echocardiogram report later on.

OK, so maybe Darcy isn't following a bounce pattern after all. :rolleyes::cool: R looked about perfect today.

Poor little rescue kitty. :bighug:

The poor little kitten is in pain and I am really not sure how much Buprenorphine to give her. I only gave her a drop at about noon. I can give more at 8 p.m. or so. She's only 3 lbs. I'm going to check the dosing by weight guidelines. She really needs it as she cries (or hisses a little) when she moves around much... and even so she's still getting up to use her litter box and she can't walk very well right now so it's not easy. We did have them do an x-ray on her this morning and she has not broken bones which was a relief (we were concerned since she's not walking to well). There's never a dull moment around here in the cat world. If it's not one thing it's another. My last two foster kittens from 2020 were adopted on February 12, 2021... so we have had a nice little break of six weeks with no kittens.

He's looking pretty good today... blue then back up into the low yellows when I checked a little bit ago.... now about another hour or so until shot time and I'll see what's up then.

I hope all gets better for the kitten, quickly. I have three kittens and their mom and two other kittens who showed up during kitten season, and I have one spayed and have to get the others spayed and neutered still, and soon. Cats keep you really busy!! One time, a kitty got an abscess at his eye area. I thought it was cancer at first, because I have dealt with quite a few cancer cats. The vet drained it and I am glad he did because wow that eye area was getting pretty large. He is the bully cat who gets popped in the face by other cats, for being a bully :cat:
