Good Morning Lantus Land!

Ohh...listen to that Robin singing so early today at the window!
Attie enjoyed all the KTSS he received last night! He was quite chill-laxed and slept most of the night away. Disturbing his bean just once for one more Rabbit Sundae.
Thanks for the KTSS guys! ~~Attie
MudCat on the other hand had the kitty crazies last night and was at the race track until the wee hours. I finally had to get up and take the ball out of the track.
Gary continues in the foster room ...his vampire trip is Wednesday. The last few times I've used a towel to catch him and put him in the carrier. Yesterday as I folded towels he ran and hid under the bed. :? Need a plan B!
It is Pet First Aid Awareness Month!
And this article got me thinking about all of us here on FD...
Five Tips That Will Save Your Cat’s Life in a Disaster
Five simple basics, but as FD caregivers ...what else should be in our feline's To-Go-Bag?
I thought a collapsible/kennel of some sort. They can't stay in the carrier for days. They need to be able to move around a bit and access to a litterbox. You can find many different styles and in a freaked out furbaby keep in mind their need for privacy. Leaving them in a hot car, just is not an answer. I found some very cool pop-up tents to sturdy portable metal playpens. Blankets and towels can be used to create that "shelter" from the ER shelter chaos.
What about insulin and those meters and test strips...
