Max,
You're doin' a great job getting into greens in the PM. Can you show us some more of those pretty colors during the AM cycles, too? If not, just make sure you go green tonight!
Sorry Max is still bouncing on you so much, Elise. I hope he gets used to the blues and greens soon and quits giving you those ugly pinks!

Thanks for visiting Rachel, Devon, Shelly ,and Julie and for the encouragement. It's so hard to stay positive right now. Every time he makes progress he slides back. Julie pointed out how he was hitting pink less and less so of course yesterday we saw lots of it yesterday. I need to somehow not let the numbers give me hope or bring me down but so far that is a challenge for me.

i was counting how many days in pinks - and i was surprised by how much improvement he's made. hang in there!
it's true that you have to disassociate from the numbers if you can - you just can't control everything in this dance. he doesn't know what his blood sugar numbers are, but he knows if he feels better, so focus on that.

Thanks, Julie. We have something in common. I taught elementary school until 2 years ago! Are you on spring break or is it the week before Easter.

Sometimes I think cats know when we need an extra bit of sleep and give us the numbers to let us do that. Max seems to like to have a pink cycle every week or so. Paws crossed for better numbers tomorrow morning.
