Tuxie had a decent day yesterday (for him). I expected a bounce after hitting green yesterday but at least he didn't hit the blacks this morning.

There seems to be a tentative truce starting between the "brat" grandkitties and my two. I really don't think them being here is upsetting my Tuxie enough to affect his glucose readings so far. My poor Maxie girl is still spending most her time in my bedroom to keep away from them though.

I was just reading up on yesterday, I think you do definitely qualify as a crazy cat lady now ;)

My mum's cat, Purrdy, is flying over for a 6 week visit next month. I feel bad for him because he has to live in the laundry (neither Vyktor nor Meg rabbit will tolerate him - even though he's a lovely cat ) but have to remind myself that he's better off than he would be boarded. I'm also better off because I'd worry about his numbers too much if a stranger had him!

Sending special scritches for Maxie

Friends have always said I am a crazy cat lady, especially the last 6 months since Tuxie was diagnosed. Now they just have more ammunition...lol

I am glad you are able to have Purdy come stay with you, even if he has to be separated in the laundry room. I can't imagine having to board my Tuxie, even if he was not diabetic, or his sister Maxie...they would be so so stressed and depressed. Even if I had someone who could test and shoot Tuxie (as if he would let anyone else do it!!) I would be constantly worrying about whether it was being done right. So definitely it is better for Purrdy to be "inconvenienced" than left behind. I hope the visit goes well!

Thanks for the scritches for Maxie. I will give her extra ones when I go up to check on her next, :)

Tuxie decided to run some greens tonight. I "fed the greens" to keep him from hitting a reduction, which seems to have worked. For some reason his numbers seem to be improving since the "brat grandkitties" came. I might have to tell my son that they have to stay if Tuxie keeps this up. :D

Tuxie's +8 was 110 so he is on the way up. Good nite all. I am grabbing a few hours sleep before I start all over again tomorrow.
