Yesterday was quite the blue day. The last time I saw 2 blue cycles in a row was exactly a month ago. I wonder what she's up to...

This morning Ripley is going GREAT. All 5 Ps in place, plus CPC.

We have a vetty visit this afternoon: check-up, blood work, etc., just to see how her levels are holding up. I know 'on the outside' Ripley's feeling great ~ but I'm always a little worried something new will be discovered. Once a worried mamabean, always a worried mamabean. But I'm also looking forward to showing her vet her amazing beegees, and her beautiful coat, and the perky look in her eyes. Well, her her eyes probably won't look very perky while at the vet, but I'm sure he'll be able to see how well she's doing.

I'm sending vines to all in need today!

Nice amps! I like how she's been so even and steady the past couple of days. Nice low blues!

WooHOO! CPC too. Must have been good fuds. :-D

Morning Josie, nice start today for Ripley with the low blue AMPS! She is doing great even with the blues yesterday. Josie and Mags must have been hanging out together, as Mags had higher blues than usual. :lol:
Mags is quite the party girl at times. Sending good Vetty vines and hope it doesn't stress Ripley too much. I bet she's really good at the Vetty. Have a nice day.

I so concur with the worrying. Even when everything is good, we worry about what's around the next corner.

So, I had to leave Rippo at the vet ~ there's no urine in her bladder, so they'll hopefully be able to draw some within the next hour and a half. (Sorry, girlie girl ~ I know this wasn't a part of the 'plan' :sad: .) But she passed the physical exam with flying colors! Yippee! Good heart rate, eyes, ears, teeth (I was a little worried about the teeth part ~ the paranoid mamabean in me has lately wondered if she doesn't like the chunks in Cowboy Cookout because she's not able to chew them (this morning she spit several of them out next to her dish! nailbite_smile :lol: :lol: ) but it appears she just doesn't like 'em. Whew!). She did her usual 'hide her head in my armpit' routine, which always cracks up the vet techs. I'll get blood results tomorrow (and hopefully urine results, too), but I probably won't be able to update her labs ss until Wednesday (open house tomorrow night ~ the parents are in my classroom for only about an hour, but it takes 2 hrs. before and 2 hrs. after to prep/clean up. I'm already looking forward to that ice cream and/or glass of vino when I get home tomorrow night...)

It feels wrong to leave the vet w/o my sugarkitty. I owe her lots of treats and snuggles later...

Sounds like a good vetty report. I'm sorry you had to leave her :sad: . I know what you mean about "once a worried mamabean"...we can't help it! Trix won't touch those CC chunks either...I don't even bother trying any more :lol: !

Hi Josie, I was checking back on Ripley's vetty visit. I hope Ripley makes good on the urine draw. I know how you must hate leaving her. Sounds like a great Vetty report, too, and yay on the teeth passing, too. That's always a worry with our kitties
:lol: :lol: on Ripley spitting out the chunks of CC. Mags shoves them to the side of the plate. Have a good evening. You deserve a glass of vino tonight, too! :-D

That's great you got a good vet report for Ripley. I hope you can bring her home soon and the b/w results are good too.

Hi Josie. Great vet report on Miss Ripley. Too bad she had to stay for the urine test. She'll be super happy to get home. Hope there's lots of treats waiting for her.

Hope your open house with the parents goes well tomorrow. Enjoy the vino-ice cream float. :lol:

Poor Ripley looks traumatized ~ but you wouldn't know it based on her beegees!! Still lagooning! :mrgreen:
She's licking all of that icky vetty smell off herself.
And, of course, Marley's and Smokey's noses are all over her. ("Where have you been? What did those awful people do to you?") Just adds to her annoyance!
