Last night Neko had a little run in the blues:
PMPS 441
+2 293
+4 173
+5 166

So naturally this morning is a bounce. I was going to up her dose this morning to 4.5 but now I can't. We are supposed to wait 3 days after a bounce before upping the dose, but Neko seems to be bouncing fairly frequently and not clearing the old bounce before starting a new one. When do I up the dose? Do I just wait for a slightly lowish red PS? Ideas?

Neko doesn't seem disturbed by the bounce. She wasn't asking for brekkie too early or loudly and went for yard patrol just after her shot. Most of the P's in place. I haven't seen much playing from her since FD dx, although she is active in other ways. She is still trying to figure out the the auto-feeder and how to break into it.

bounces aren't bad. they show the liver is working.

i would've done the increase last night. i am not clear on why one shouldn't increase during the bounce if we've seen the low point on the current dose pretty clearly. seems like the 4.25 gets her to mid-100's. i'll watch and see what the answers from others are on whether you still have to wait for this next bounce to clear or can go ahead..

Let me clarify. You can increase once the bounce clears. If the bounce clears by PMPS, you can increase. A bounce can take up to 72 hours to clear but it doesn't mean you need to wait that entire time.

OK, I wait until the bounce clears to up the dose, hopefully tonight or tomorrow AM. I can't stay up late on Monday, Wednesday or Friday nights.

So, would a lowish red be a sign that the bounce is clearing for Neko?

the low point of the cycle is what tells you if the bounce has cleared. so you're looking for another blue, probably, to tell you that it's cleared. then increase.

Thanks Julie. Looks like we might get yellows but no blues today. Just hope the next set of blues doesn't cause another bounce.

Just caught her playing with her nip pouch, so she is feeling fine in spite of the numbers.

Celi - you have the greatest pictures. I think Neko was embarassed by the 500+ AM and decided to move it down a notch. Looks like she is recovering the bounce nicely. I hope she goes low enough tonight to prove me right, without bouncing back. Then we get to increase!
