Morning all!
Everything at our house is settling back to normal! We're all feeling better, and for the most part, sleeping better. Max has been his usually cuddly self as well. Hard to believe it's day 11 already!
And I think I figured out why he was popping up some blues recently. He was getting Friskies Ocean Whitefish and Tuna for two days or so, and for some reason, that flavor bumps his numbers higher. When I was changing flavors at every meal I had suspected that flavor to be a problem, but wasn't sure. Now that we're out of it, and he's getting Turkey and Giblets all the time instead, his numbers have definitely come down. And the fishy one is fairly low carb, so it's odd that it would do that, but whatever. Neither of the boys was that enthralled with it, so I just won't buy it anymore.
Also, I don't know why, but we've now gone about a week with no hairballs or pukus!
Of course I'm thrilled, but stumped as to why that would have changed. We haven't been doing anything differently. And now that I've said something about it, I'm sure I'll come home to a couple hairballs and a big pile of pukus tonight.
P.S. Max said the party was great last night...but he won't give me any details! He snuck out after we went to bed, so I didn't even know he was gone! That does explain why he didn't want to come out for treats before I left this morning tho, and why there was still breffis left in the bowl--he was still full from the party!
