Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) Today I headed out for a peppermint white mocha. Dang they are mega good!

My little Miss Elsa has turned into a snuggle bunny. ;-) All. the. time. well seriously, I really don't mind. She's taken to sitting with me when I read or I watch TV, or sits on my lap when I am on the computer. I can't quite decide if it's becasue she really misses Mannie and doesn't quite know why he isn't here, or if she is just trying to care for her Bean who she senses is a times a bit sad. I think it's a little bit of both. So we accept all we can get, and return what she dishes out. Kinda nice! :-D :-D

Thanks to all that visit these LLips condos... It is appreciated. It is a good way for me to keep in touch with everyone, and post the photos etc that folks want to see. I'm glad that this seems to be workng out. We are doing OK too, and thank you all for asking! I still miss Mannie. I still go to do FD stuff without thinking. I think sometimes those are the saddest moments. Well we quickly replace them with happy ones, and remember what was special about Mannie. Doesn't take long - all I have to do is look at the nanner pile! Thank you all for caring as much as you do.

Yesterday we had another low tide here, so off I went to explore the shore some more. I headed north this time, which is a great beach walk. It tends to be more open that the route taken the other day, more sandy areas, not as many anemones (In fact I saw none yesterday), but it does have ALOT of clams... all kinds of clams... It was a great time! I think I did about 9 miles total. I ran into an old derelict ship from decades ago, that rests, and in some spots rots, on the shore. Kinda nice to find these old wooden vessels. Here's the Picassa photo link: Low Tide: Meadowdale to Picnic Point and Beyond....

Have a great one everybody! Enjoy your Monday. No clue yet what will be here - maybe a hike if I can find a sunny windless spot away from home. SWEET! :-D :-D :-D

I just love moss hanging off of trees....
All of today's pictures look nothing like NM. That's more of what I expect to see from WA.
And beaches always look cold to me.... especially West Coast beaches....

Perhaps Elsa is also enjoying the spotlight.
Good luck finding somewhere without wind.

Good Morning Michelle, a peppermint white mocha, how nice! Now I need my coffee just hearing about yours today! :-D Oh so sweet with Elsa staying so close. It so reminds me of Mags when her big bro crossed the Bridge. You and her will get so close now. I sense she's missing Mannie as well as sensing your sadness. Kitties are so in tune with our emotions. Enjoy the snuggles.
Those are great pics again of your low tide walk. I love the little sea critters. Nine miles is a real nice walk, too. I hope you can find a nice spot for a walk/hike today. Give Elsa some scritches from us.

Morning Rhiannon ~O) ~O) ~O) Sometimes I think we as a state could make a fortune off of moss, if we could just market it ... it is everywhere! on everything! I do not have a lawn, i have a moss patch.  Yes too on our beaches... not a hot spot for sure. yesterday it as 50 out there, with wind, so bundled up I was... not shorts and t-shirts!  I think so too on Elsa.

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Yupp on that coffee! off for the good stuff once again here. Will on on Elsa, and I so agree with what you wrote. She sticks close, and I'm willing to oblige. She's a good affectionate kitty. Will do on the scritches! THX on the hike - think I have found one - sun there today, with minimal clouds and no rains after 10. I hope they are right...  ;-)

Hi Michelle. Thank you again for some great pictures. I enjoy your loose lips condos. Glad that Miss Elsa is becoming a cuddle bunny for you. I agree with you that she senses your sadness and may even be able to relate it to her's from the loss of her companion. I'm one of those folks that believe cats have a lot more intelligence than we give them credit for.

Thank you for your visit today Michelle and have a great day.

Michelle, those are great pictures. I think with Elsa it is a mutual comforting. Our kitties are so sensitive and I know they miss their companions when they are gone. Enjoy the snuggles.

Hi Michelle,

So cute that Elsa has turned into a snuggle bunny, I bet it is a combination of her missing Mannie and also picking up on your feelings.

Great pictures  Hope you're having a good night.

Kathie

Hi John - Many thanks! I'm glad you liked the photos - it was a fun day for me. I so agree what you on cats and their intelligence. I truly believe that Elsa is intuitive to how I feel, and she's doing this to share what she feels too. THX too on the day - it was great!

Hi Carla - THX! I will on eh snuggles. I know she misses Mannie, so we do what we an to reassure her.

HI Kathie - I thinks so on Elsa - and I love the snuggle bunny, I think she does too. THX on the pics, and yupp - great night! :-D

How sweet that Elsa has turned into a snuggle bunny! Kitties are just so attuned to our needs. I think we need to see some pictures of this snuggler ;-) :-D !

Sounds like you had another very cool day...you have so much interesting "stuff" close at hand!

Have a great night snuggling with Elsa!!

Hey Michelle,
Those are fantastic pics! What a great hike along the shore. The pics took a while to load on this iPad, but it was worth the wait.

Elsa is watching over you and I'm sure she appreciates your comforting presence. She needs to grieve, too. I wonder if Mannie has visited her?

We are here in the city. I just finished getting my bike ready for the ride tomorrow. It has sat all winter in the apartment.

Tired after the trip. Rusty did well.

Have a great evening.

Ella & Rusty (getting ready for Central Park tomorrow. He's all excited about putting up the Mannie was here plaques)

Hi Amy - I think so too on Elsa - I love it, and it seems to make her happy. Comforting times for us both. OOOO! Good idea! I should do that. I talk about her enough it would be nice if everyone could see what she looks like! :-D THX too - I am off to do some more snuggle time - she now comes to bed too. SWEET! THX on the pics and places here -we are fortunate: alot to see!

Hi Ella - I hope you had a safe trip! I am elated that Rusty did well. YAY! How great: a bike ride tomorrow. What fun! Hope your bike didnlt need too much work to get it ready. THX on the pics from the low tides here. Yeah -I am sure it took a while to load - I take way too many of them,... it does take a while.... I agree on Elsa, and I wonder if Mannie did. i just don't know.... somehow I think so, maybe to reassure her, and ask to her to watch over us. I would like to think so. I love the trip for the kitties tmorrow,a dn teh thought of the Mannie pal ques. He so loved those NYC trips! So did I. Rest well tonight, and have a great ride tomorrow!
