Happy Tuesday and many healing vines to Trix, Rex, Lucy, and any others who need them.

I got tons and tons of snuggles from my LBG last night. She is such a sweetheart. Yesterday was a little stressful because the carpet cleaners were here and today the window cleaners but she actually did pretty well with them all. She is such a sassy britches! Things are going really well with Rich testing her. He shot on Sunday night and I shot last night. I think he is going to come shoot a couple more times but she's getting very comfy with him. Tobey still thinks he smells great :lol: :lol: We are keeping all fingers crossed that it continues to go so well so we can do our anniversary trip on Sun=Tues.

We still have a little wonkiness going on but I'm not sure if it was the partial furshot the other night, the insulin being wonky, or a combo of both. I think the latter. I started a new pen yesterday morning. So we are just waiting to see how she does. I hate to take her dose up just to have to drop it again when we leave on Sunday. If she can mostly stay in low to mid blue, I might just leave it until we get back.

Sorry to be MIA again. It's the last of the huge push (I hope) on my project for now. I worked on the review over the weekend and last night and am preparing a briefing today for my supervisors tomorrow. I'm so ready to be done with this phase.

Hi Marge,
I'm happy for you that the monster project is winding down. You and Mike will be able to celebrate your anniversary without that hanging over your head. It is great that Rich can cat sit. Good luck with the insulin. I hope it's OK. Every time I start a new cartridge I worry a little.

Good luck with the new pen. I'm glad Gracie is getting used to Rich. It will be nice to be able to get away and celebrate your anniversary and not have to worry about the furbabies.

WOOt on nearly being finished w/ that project! Rich is a lifesaver to be able to catsit for you, you two deserve the time away.

I've found that it isn't how long we've had a pen open, but how much is left in it that leads to wonkiness. When we get down to that last window, things start to seem off and it's time for a new pen. I hope the new one turns things around for you.

I'm glad to hear that all is progressing well with Rich's indoctrination into the World According to Gracie. It's so important that you and Mike can take your time away together and not have to give a thought to how things are going at home. It's a bonus that you will have the break right after finishing your mega project. I'm sure you'll come back feeling like a new woman (not that there was anything wrong with the old one! ;-) :lol: ).
