Spot is still looking good!

WCR: No outside time yesterday because grammie bean thought it was to cold and by the time I got home from work yesterday, Spot had already left for the Moon Party. All food was gone from the timed feeder this morning. Spot didn't wake me up to walk him to the feeder last night and Ralph was sleeping in between my feet when I woke up, so I believe that Spot got all the food himself.
This morning Spot was chased by the alioon poop that was lurking in the depths of the litter box again this morning, lol. Then did a little pacing before settling on the kitchen counter until test time. Furry and purry and hungry hungry hippo for his breffis. Was bright eyed and bushy tailed when I left for work, so I can only assume that he was trying to decide whether he should get a bath and then take his nap or if he should just settle in for a nap since it would be nice a quiet until grammie bean got up.

**Please send good vines to the groomer today...Drooler, Molly is going in for a shampoo and trim today, and she can be very very "talkative" when she does this...sometimes talks for two hours straight! I hope the groomer has a stash of Valium in her desk, lol.

Sounds like a great start for Spot! Hope the drooler does ok at the groomer's! Our Basenji, Niam, HATES water. The doggy daycare that he goes to also does baths. When he gets one, he screams the entire time. And when I pick him up afterwards, he screams and whines on the way home. I think he's telling me how awful and traumatic it was. :lol:

I was a Dog groomer twice in my life & gotta tell you, the animals are treated really well by most shops, unless they bite..Then you need to watch it & be careful--WE HAVE WAYS to hold a drooler still in the tub,--One is holding by the scruff, the other(please excuse) is holding them by the crotch!!! Believe me a male drooler wont move when you are holding his privates :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Females also!
Besides you have them in a bathtub with soap & water!! Also, by holding the scruff they dont shake all the water & soap on you- :lol: :lol: !!!

The clippers are noisy & vibrating, so of course, the animals dont like them!! They also hate the dryers which is done by hand--They can be scary, but it's only a short time AND THEY FEEL MUCH BETTER After the grooming!!!
So dont worry, your baby will be alright!!

Woohoo! What a nice number for the SpottieSpotaKiss!! Grammie bean has him outside on his chair, so he must be feeling the love, lol!

Drooler going in at 1 p.m....an hour from now. Grammie is going to drop her off and hopefully I will be able to pick her up after I get off of work. She is going to look so funny w/o all her long fur on her!

HI Deb and Spot! Woo hoo for Spot bringing his # down!!!!! Sending calming vines to Molly, I am sure she will be ok!!!! Don't you just love alien poo's?? I laughed so hard when I read that! Hope you have a great day Deb!!!
 
Mr. Spot certainly likes the low 100's for his am/pm bg's today, doesn't he! That's my Spot, who is now chillaxin on his chair outside, not a care in the world.

Drooler update: She looks sooo purdy after her grooming session! Smells good and she is so soft. They put these little blue bows in the fur on her ears and she kept them there for a few hours. Looked cute. They said she was a good girl...she was talking to everyone and anyone who would listen...the whole entire time she was there, lol.
I must say...they did a wonderful job...and the cost was decent. $45 for shampoo, hair cut, nails and ears. Petsmart wanted $80...go figure
 
Been away for a while so I was a bit surprised to see Mr Zippy Pants had a condo. But looks like the countdown is on again ;-) Sounds like Spot had a great day! And the drooler did ok too :lol: I really always laughed at the bows they put in and wondered "how long to those really last". Too cute.

Hope you Spot, drooler and Grammie Bean had a good day!
