Good Morning all!
Very frantic, vocal and hungry cat this am. Started "caterwauling" at around 3:30am and didn't stop literally until 4:30am, when I got up to shoot and feed.
He was in the mid 300's again and doesn't seem to be responding much to this dose either. I'm not convinced his problem is his pancrease at this point because he really doesn't seem to have any symptoms, but I hear they can hide them very well. Only a blood test well tell for sure.
One thing I have been investigating is his use of Cosequin. There are some studies out there stating that Glucosomine can create insulin resistance. Guinness has been on a daily dose of Cosequin for probably 8 years. It never seemed to affect his BGs the first time around, and when I read the info on the internet at the start of our second trip here to Lantus, I stopped giving them to him. I'm wondering if maybe it's playing a factor. Any thoughts?
