Looks like the brief respite from highs was temporary, he's going right back up again. I presume this is another bounce from that small window of relief. His lowest reading today was 370 +5, then started rising right back up. I assume this will be another 4-7 cycle process. I understand this is a common issue for cats starting treatment, as their bodies are so accustom to high BG levels so the liver is trying to compensate for that. How long does it take for these bounces to calm down, or when do you decide to increase dosage?
I should mention that despite all of this, he's gained almost a pound and his fur looks much better. Not sure how since his numbers are so out of control still, but it's been a fairly obvious change.
