Not quite sure what's up with that AMBG....it's much higher than we've had lately, and now I've gotten used to the "lower than usual" AMBGs so the "higher than usual AMBG" is throwing me off! I was hoping to get a follow-up pokey, but ran out of timme. Gotta love being a bean....never happy, always suspicious! Anyway, Trix seems to be feeling great....spunky, full of adventure, bright-eyed, and a pretty happy appy.

We did her fluids a couple hours later than usual last night. Once again, her appy was a little off for just part of the evening, mainly shortly after the fluids. But it could just be coincidence combined with the hypersensitivity of her crazy bean. I don't know. When I got home from work, her appy was beyond happy, and she also ate very well right before I went to bed. I guess what catches my eye during her "off appy" periods, however long or brief they may be, is her demeanor. It's "different", for lack of a better word. But as long as she's eating well, I will do my best to not over-analyze it...(yeah, right...Soooooooo much easier said than done!)

My Dad was also feeling very awesome yesterday....he's back to feeling completely 100% normal - no cancer symptoms (which he never really had to begin with), and no "mystery illness" symptoms. It sucks that we do have to explore a new treatment protocol when he feels like absolutely nothing is wrong. But for now, he's on a chemo break, until we see what the Penn doc has to say.

It's a work day again, so time to get moving. Have a great day, L&LL!

That is wonderful news for your Dad-- continuing to send vines and prayers for him and also continued appy vines for Trixie! Love hearing that she's looking spunky, bright eyed, full of adventure and has a good appy! (anti jinxs to the nth degree!!!)

Come on down to green Trixie. I bet she is already there. You will always helicopter. It's what you do. ;)

Great news about your dad feeling better. What a huge relief. Hope you have a great day!!

Those green and normal BG were looking really great. I wonder if the change this morning had anything to do with they change in her fluid schedule. I have noticed changes in Sammy's BG when I give fluids at a different time. I will be curious to see how the next few days go and if she comes back down for her AMBG tests.

She's done this before and come back. I know how nervous this makes you though. I hope green returns next cycle.

More prayers for your DF.

Glad to hear your dad is doing so well. Continued healing prayers and thoughts going out to him.
It is really good that you are so on top of how Trixie is doing. That is how we catch things early and are able to get treatment started right away. You are doing an awesome job!

Hi Amy,
What great news about your dad! I hope that he continues to feel 100%. Maybe he won't have to start a new protocol right away, and therefore have a good chance to get his strength back. Continuing to send vines!

Trixie, let's post some better numbers so that mamabean can land the helicopter!

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Overall, a pretty positive condo. We helicopter moms, however, are never happy. C'mon, Trixie, let's bring that AMBG back down so Mama has to find something else to worry about.

Great news about your DF. I hope they come up with a plan at Penn that won't rock the boat too much. Vines and prayers.

Morning Amy :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Sorry I missed you yesterday. Sounds like Trixie was off to having a great day. Not too bad of an ambg. I hope you surfed well yesterday Trixie.

Good news on your dad! I am so glad he is feeling 100% again. :)

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.
